Darstop is looking for dedicated and passionate Online Chess tutor to join our growing team. If you have experience teaching children and can create an engaging and interactive learning environment, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive online chess lessons for students aged 7–15.
• Conduct one-on-one and small group classes via Zoom or Google Meet
• Create or follow structured lesson plans based on student level
• Maintain attendance records and submit weekly progress reports.
• Ensure classes are interactive, engaging, and student-centered
• Provide feedback on student progress
• Start and finish all classes on time while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of chess rules, tactics, strategies, and positional play.
• Previous experience teaching or coaching children is preferred.
• FIDE, USCF, or national chess rating/certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Russian is a plus).
• Ability to explain complex chess concepts in a simple and engaging way.
• Experience teaching online using Zoom, Google Meet, or similar platforms.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection, laptop/computer, webcam, and microphone.
• Patient, energetic, and passionate in teaching kids.
• Ability to work according to U.S. Eastern Time (EST/EDT) schedule, including after-school and weekend hours.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Schedule:

• 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM (US Eastern Time) (EST)
• Must be available on Monday-Sunday

Rate:

• 6$ per 45-minute class
