Senior Full-Stack BigCommerce B2B Developer & E-Commerce Specialist

World Class Industrial Supply is a growing U.S.-based industrial distributor serving wind-energy, electrical, construction, maintenance and industrial-service customers nationwide.

We sell industrial tools, torque and hydraulic equipment, safety products, high-voltage equipment, workwear, rigging products and specialty supplies. We also provide calibration, repair and equipment-rental services.

Our e-commerce platform uses BigCommerce B2B Edition integrated with NetSuite through Folio3.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack BigCommerce B2B Developer & E-Commerce Specialist based in the Philippines.

This is a hybrid technical and operational position. The successful candidate will develop, maintain and improve our BigCommerce storefront while also helping manage the daily functionality of our B2B e-commerce environment.

Candidates must have experience supporting B2B websites with customer hierarchies, including parent companies, locations, company administrators, buyers, purchasing permissions and approval workflows.

This is not a basic product-upload, virtual-assistant or Shopify-only position. The successful candidate must be comfortable working with BigCommerce theme code, APIs, custom applications, integrations and B2B functionality.

This is a long-term employment opportunity structured as an independent-contractor arrangement. The successful candidate will be treated as a valued member of our company and included in relevant team communications, planning and decision-making. This person will work directly with the company’s owners, have meaningful responsibility for our e-commerce platform and play an important role in the company’s long-term growth.

Primary Development Responsibilities

Customize and maintain our BigCommerce Stencil theme
Develop and improve front-end and back-end e-commerce functionality
Work with HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript and Handlebars templates
Develop and maintain server-side services, middleware and custom integrations
Create reusable Page Builder widgets and website components
Work with BigCommerce REST APIs, GraphQL, webhooks and third-party applications
Work with databases, authentication, data mapping and error-handling processes
Troubleshoot cart, checkout, account-registration, payment, tax and shipping issues
Improve desktop and mobile responsiveness
Improve website speed, accessibility and technical SEO
Develop and enhance Request a Quote functionality
Maintain code using Git and GitHub
Test changes in a copied theme, sandbox or development environment before deploying to production
Document code, system configurations, deployments and troubleshooting procedures
Troubleshoot the BigCommerce side of our Folio3–NetSuite integration
Coordinate with NetSuite, Folio3 and other integration partners when ERP-side work is required
Monitor integrations, investigate failed transactions and help prevent recurring errors

B2B E-Commerce Responsibilities

Manage B2B company accounts and customer hierarchies
Configure parent companies, locations, company administrators, buyers and other purchasing roles
Establish and maintain user permissions, spending limits and approval workflows
Manage customer-specific catalogs, price lists, discounts and product visibility
Configure payment terms, purchase-order checkout and credit limits
Manage approved shopping lists and frequently purchased products
Troubleshoot customer login, account-access and company-user issues
Assist customers and internal team members with B2B portal functionality
Create, update and organize products, categories, images, descriptions and technical specifications
Manage product variants, custom fields and bulk product imports
Review the website for incorrect information, broken links and purchasing problems
Improve product pages, navigation, filters and search functionality
Set up promotions, coupons, featured products and merchandising campaigns
Monitor website traffic, conversions, customer activity and online sales
Recommend improvements to the B2B customer experience

Required Experience

At least three years of professional e-commerce development experience
Hands-on BigCommerce development experience
Professional full-stack web-development experience
Hands-on experience managing or supporting a B2B e-commerce website
Experience with company accounts and customer hierarchies
Experience configuring buyer roles, permissions and approval workflows
Strong HTML5, CSS/SCSS and JavaScript skills
Experience with at least one server-side technology, such as Node.js, PHP, Python, Java ----------
Experience working with REST APIs, GraphQL, webhooks and third-party integrations
Experience working with databases, authentication and data synchronization
Experience with Git and GitHub version control
Experience troubleshooting production e-commerce websites
Experience managing large or technically complex product catalogs
Strong written and spoken English
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
Reliable computer, internet connection and dependable attendance
Ability to overlap at least four working hours with U.S. Central Time

Schedule and Compensation

Full-time, long-term contractor position
Standard schedule of 40 hours per week
At least four working hours must overlap with U.S. Central Time
₱140,000–₱200,000 per month, depending on verified experience
Initial 90-day evaluation period
