About the Role

The Accounting Officer is responsible for managing the company's financial records, ensuring accurate accounting transactions, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and government regulations. The role supports the Finance Department by preparing financial reports, monitoring accounts, and assisting in budgeting and auditing activities.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and record daily accounting transactions accurately and on time.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash balances.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure timely filing and payment of taxes and other government statutory requirements.
Monitor and maintain fixed asset records.
Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules.
Assist in budget preparation and expense monitoring.
Coordinate with external auditors, government agencies, and other stakeholders during audits and inspections.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records and supporting documents.
Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, or a related field.
At least 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), BIR regulations, and other government compliance requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
