About the Role

Hi! šŸ‘‹

I’m looking for a full-time Virtual Assistant to join my early-stage software/IT company, Exyllion LLC, long term.

This is NOT a sales or appointment-setting position.

I’m looking for someone who can become a combination of an AI power user, researcher, operations assistant, content manager, organizer, and creative problem-solver.

I don't need someone who simply waits for a checklist every morning. I want someone who eventually understands the company well enough to identify problems, opportunities, better tools, and better ways of doing things.

šŸš€ ABOUT EXYLLION

Exyllion is an early-stage software/technology company.

I will share our company website with you so you can get a general feel for Exyllion.

If you visit the website and don't completely understand what the company does yet — that's actually okay!

The website was intentionally designed not to explicitly reveal the full idea and long-term direction behind the company. Some parts of what we're building and exploring are intentionally kept broad at this stage.

So please do not feel like you aren't qualified simply because you can't immediately figure out the entire business from the website.

If anything, being curious and asking "What exactly is behind this?" is a good sign. 😊

Once hired, I'll provide much more context about the company, the ideas we're evaluating, our projects, and what we're trying to build.

Right now, one of my biggest priorities is determining which opportunity should become the company's primary long-term focus.

This will actually be one of your first important projects.

I currently spend around 3 hours per day researching ideas, competitors, markets, technology, business models, and opportunities using ChatGPT and other AI tools.

The problem?

AI can hallucinate.

It can miss competitors.

It can present assumptions as facts.

It can tell me an idea sounds amazing without enough real-world evidence.

That's why I need a human researcher who knows how to use AI AND knows when not to trust AI.

You should be able to research the actual internet, verify information using multiple sources, investigate competitors, read customer discussions and reviews, organize everything clearly, and help me determine whether an opportunity is actually worth pursuing.

šŸ”Ž RESEARCH WILL BE A MAJOR PART OF YOUR JOB

You may research:

New software/startup ideas
Existing competitors
Market demand
Customer pain points
Pricing and business models
Industry trends
Potential customers
SaaS products and AI companies
APIs and software infrastructure
New technology
Reviews and customer complaints
Reddit, forums, and social media discussions
New AI tools
Automation opportunities
Potential vendors and partners
Software subscriptions and pricing tiers
Ways to reduce our software/AI costs
Ways to automate or eliminate repetitive work

Sometimes I may simply tell you:

"Here's an idea. Find out if this is actually worth building."

I want you to investigate it like a researcher — not just ask ChatGPT whether it's a good idea.

I LOVE people who can come back and say:

"I don't think this version will work, and here's the evidence. BUT while researching it, I discovered another opportunity that might be much stronger. Here's what I found."

That is exactly the type of thinking I'm looking for.

šŸ¤– AI IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT

You do NOT need to be an AI engineer or programmer.

However, you should be at least intermediate with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms.

Approximately 80% of our workflow will involve AI in some way.

You should know how to use AI for research assistance, brainstorming, data organization, content creation, writing, summarization, comparing information, improving prompts, analyzing information, creating reports, and automating repetitive tasks.

But most importantly, you need to understand:

AI output ≠ verified fact.

If ChatGPT tells you something important, I expect you to verify it.

šŸ›  FIND BETTER TOOLS & BETTER WAYS OF WORKING

I also want you to continuously look for tools that could make our company faster, cheaper, or more efficient.

For example, if we're paying for a tool and you discover another tool that does the same thing better or cheaper, tell me.

If we're considering purchasing software, I may ask you to compare features, pricing, subscription tiers, reviews, limitations, integrations, API availability, and alternatives.

Then recommend which option or tier makes the most sense.

If you discover something and think:

"This could save us 10 hours every week."

I WANT to hear about it. 😊

šŸ“§ BUSINESS EMAIL & COMMUNICATION

You may also help manage and organize our business email .

This can include:

Organizing email s
Identifying messages that need my attention
Drafting responses
Sending approved routine email s
Following up when someone hasn't responded
Contacting software companies or vendors
Requesting information, pricing, or quotes
Scheduling calls
Keeping track of important conversations

Over time, this could potentially expand into vendor and partnership communication.

For example, in the future we may communicate with cloud/software/technology vendors such as AWS or other providers.

You might research available programs, credits, pricing, partnership opportunities, or discounts; contact the appropriate team; ask questions; compare offers; and potentially help with preliminary negotiations.

I would make the final decisions and approve important commitments, but you may help move conversations forward.

šŸ“š ORGANIZATION & DOCUMENTATION

I have LOTS of ideas. šŸ˜…

I need someone who can help turn those ideas into organized information.

You may help maintain idea documents, research reports, competitor databases, business plans, tool lists, vendor information, project documentation, meeting notes, decisions, important links/resources, content calendars, research archives, and follow-ups.

If I send you a messy collection of ideas, links, screenshots, or notes, I want you to turn it into something structured, searchable, and useful.

Ideally, six months later we should still understand what we researched, what we decided, and WHY we made that decision.

šŸ” FIND PEOPLE/EXPERTS WHEN NECESSARY

Sometimes internet research isn't enough.

You may occasionally help find industry experts, freelancers, consultants, potential users, developers/designers, researchers, or other specialists.

If we need real human feedback, you may help identify appropriate people or platforms where we can get it.

This could include finding paid research participants or experts when necessary.

You would NOT spend company money without approval. Your job would be to find the best options, compare them, and recommend what makes sense.

šŸ“± SOCIAL MEDIA & AI CONTENT

You will also help with several content projects.

Our faceless YouTube content is heavily AI-generated. The goal is NOT to manually edit videos for hours. AI handles most of the production.

You may help with topic and competitor research, hooks, scripts, titles, thumbnails, keywords/SEO, uploading/scheduling, analytics, CTR, retention, and finding better content opportunities.

For TikTok/UGC, you may help create AI-assisted content, research trends and products, test hooks, prepare content, and analyze performance.

You may also help with Instagram and other platforms, including content creation, scheduling, research, and analytics.

IMPORTANT: TikTok and YouTube are NOT intended to become Exyllion's main business.

They're additional projects, experiments, marketing channels, and potential revenue streams.

Once we validate the strongest core opportunity for Exyllion, the software/technology business will become our primary focus.

🧠 WHO I'M LOOKING FOR

I care much more about how you think than having the perfect resume.

You should be extremely good at internet research, detail-oriented, creative, curious, comfortable with technology, comfortable using AI every day, able to verify AI-generated information, organized, flexible, able to learn new software quickly, comfortable with social media, good at written communication, able to organize messy information, comfortable contacting companies/vendors, and proactive.

Most importantly:

I want someone who THINKS.

If I tell you my idea, don't automatically tell me it's amazing.

Research it.

Challenge it.

Try to find reasons it could fail.

Find competitors I don't know about.

Read what real customers are saying.

Look for evidence.

And if you discover something better:

Tell me.

🌱 ABOUT WORKING WITH AN EARLY-STAGE STARTUP

My ambition is to build Exyllion into a multimillion-dollar technology company.

But I want to be transparent: this is an early-stage startup, and obviously nobody can guarantee that outcome.

What I can offer is the opportunity to join extremely early and potentially grow with the company.

Your responsibilities today may be very different from your responsibilities a year from now.

If the company grows, I would love for this person to grow with it and eventually take on significantly more responsibility.

I'm looking for someone who wants to become a long-term team member, not someone looking for a temporary one-month project.

šŸ’» DO I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO CODE?

No.

You do NOT need to be a programmer.

However, Exyllion is a software/IT company, so you need to be genuinely comfortable around technology, software, SaaS, AI, websites, apps, APIs, and digital businesses.
