Part-Time Social Media Virtual Assistant – Event Rental & Décor Company

Mathews Signature Events is a party rental and event décor company serving Palm Beach County, Florida. We provide tables, chairs, linens, balloon décor, backdrops, event styling, and other event rentals.

We are looking for a creative, reliable Social Media Virtual Assistant to help us consistently showcase our work online.

Important: We already have photos and video content from our events. We are NOT looking for someone to create content from nothing. Your primary job will be turning our existing raw photos and videos into polished social media content and making sure it gets posted consistently.

Responsibilities

• Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and TikTok
• Create simple, polished graphics and carousels using Canva
• Write engaging captions that sound natural and fit our brand
• Schedule and publish approximately 3 posts/Reels per week
• Repurpose one piece of content across Facebook , Instagram, and TikTok when appropriate
• Create Instagram/Facebook Stories from existing event content
• Organize photos and videos so previous events can be reused for future content
• Maintain a monthly content calendar
• Help showcase our rental inventory, completed events, customer reviews, and services
• Track basic monthly social media performance

You should already know how to use:

• Canva
• CapCut or similar short-form video editing software
• Instagram
• Facebook
• TikTok
• Meta Business Suite

Experience working with an event planner, wedding company, balloon decorator, party rental company, venue, photographer, caterer, or other visual/local service business is a major plus.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has strong written English
• Has a good eye for clean, attractive social media content
• Can follow brand guidelines
• Is reliable and meets deadlines
• Can work independently after receiving instructions
• Pays close attention to details
• Understands that our goal is to generate LOCAL inquiries and bookings—not simply gain followers
• Is comfortable receiving feedback and making revisions
