Licensed Chemist / Qualified Person (QP) – Skincare/Cosmetics

We are a small, growing skincare business based in Pasig City. We are looking for a Licensed Chemist with a valid PRC ID who is interested in serving as our Qualified Person (QP) and supporting our FDA regulatory compliance.

The business is currently pre-operational and completing FDA License to Operate (LTO) requirements, making this a good opportunity for a licensed chemist who would like to gain hands-on experience in cosmetics regulatory compliance as the business grows.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the company's designated Qualified Person (QP) for FDA regulatory requirements
• Assist in maintaining compliance with FDA requirements applicable to cosmetic traders/distributors
• Review relevant product and regulatory documentation
• Assist with FDA compliance documentation, inspections, and regulatory concerns when required
• Help maintain the company's Risk Management Plan (RMP), Product Information Files (PIFs), post-market surveillance records, and related documentation as applicable
• Coordinate with the owner and product manufacturer/supplier regarding technical documentation
• Participate in relevant cosmetics regulatory training as needed
• Become familiar with the company's skincare products and their technical documentation

Qualifications:

• Licensed Chemist with a valid and current PRC ID – required
• Degree in Chemistry
• Willing to be officially designated as the company's Qualified Person (QP), subject to FDA requirements
• Willing and able to report to the Pasig City establishment when required
• Good organizational and documentation skills
• Responsible and willing to learn FDA cosmetics regulations
• FDA/cosmetics regulatory experience or relevant training is an advantage but not required
• Fresh graduates/newly licensed chemists are welcome to apply
• Applicant must disclose any current employment or engagement with another FDA-regulated establishment, as this may affect QP eligibility

Training:

• Prior FDA cosmetics experience is not mandatory. For a suitable candidate, the company is willing to shoulder the cost of relevant recognized cosmetics/FDA regulatory training required for the role.
