About the Role

Type: Part-time, four hours per day, Monday to Friday Location: Remote Rate: 35,000 to 40,000 per month Start: Immediate, week commencing Monday 14 September 2026

About the role

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to take full ownership of three business social media accounts across two industries. This is a hands-on role for someone who can plan ahead, keep a content calendar running, produce clean simple graphics, and post consistently without needing to be chased.

You will not be doing video editing. We have an in-house video editor who supplies finished video content. Your job is to plan, design the simple graphics, schedule and publish.

What you will be doing
Build and maintain a live content and editorial calendar across all three accounts, planned in advance rather than on the day of posting
Publish two to three posts per week per account, being six to nine posts per week in total
Post Instagram and Facebook stories on a regular rhythm
Schedule and publish reels using video content supplied by our in-house video editor
Create basic infographics and simple static graphics on brand, using Canva or a similar tool
Attend a weekly content approval meeting for two of the accounts, where all content is reviewed and signed off before anything goes live
Submit content for the third account to the Executive Assistant for approval before posting
Grow follower numbers across all three accounts and report on the movement each month
What we are looking for
At least two years managing business or brand social media accounts, not just personal accounts
Confident designing simple graphics and infographics in Canva or similar
Comfortable working across Instagram and Facebook , including stories, reels and scheduling tools such as Meta Business Suite
Organised and self-managing. You keep the calendar full and you post on time
Strong written English, with the ability to match a different tone of voice for each account
Able to take direction and revisions from an approval meeting without friction
Reliable internet and availability during agreed working hours
Nice to have
Experience with trades, construction or home improvement brands
Experience with healthcare, allied health or professional development brands
Basic understanding of organic reach, hashtags and posting time optimisation
How to apply

Send through the following to [insert application email ]:

A short note on why you are a fit for this role, no cover letter template
Links to two or three accounts you have personally managed, including the type of content you produced for them
Three to five examples of infographics or static graphics you have designed yourself
Your availability and earliest possible start date

Applications without work samples will not be reviewed. We are moving quickly on this role and interviewing as applications come in.
