Spanish Tutor Wanted — Adults & Kids

Schedule: 5 days per week, 30–60 minutes per session
Pay: Negotiable based on experience

We are looking for a Spanish-speaking tutor to help our family learn Spanish together. The main goal is to build real conversational Spanish that we can use in everyday life, while making learning fun and natural for the kids.

What We’re Looking For

● Fluent/native Spanish speaker

● Experience teaching children

● Patient, energetic, and encouraging personality

● Able to teach beginners

● Comfortable correcting pronunciation and grammar

● Focuses on speaking and listening, not just worksheets or memorization

● Able to make lessons fun and interactive for kids

● Bonus if you have experience teaching Spanish to families or multiple age groups

What We Want to Learn

For the adults:

● Everyday conversation

● Pronunciation and vocabulary

● Understanding native speakers

● Building confidence speaking Spanish

● Practical Spanish for work and everyday situations

● Eventually, more advanced conversational Spanish

For the kids:

● Basic vocabulary and phrases

● Numbers, colors, animals, family, food, etc.

● Simple conversations

● Songs, games, stories, and activities

● Natural exposure to Spanish

Ideal Teaching Style

We want a tutor who will actually get us speaking Spanish, rather than spending the entire lesson explaining grammar.

We’re looking for someone who can gradually increase the amount of Spanish used during lessons and correct us along the way.

The goal is for Spanish to become something our family uses regularly, not just something we study.

Schedule

We are looking for approximately 4 sessions per week, Monday–Friday, with some flexibility on the exact days and times.

Sessions would generally be 30–60 minutes.
