Senior Technical Editor/Documentation QC Inspector

Job Description

After a very successful 2025, looking for a new Senior Technical Editor/Documentation QC Inspector to join their team in Hong Kong.
Reporting to the Quality Control Team Leader.
Lead editing, proofreading, and QC of technical manuals for machinery and consumer products.
Ensure documentation meets legal, regulatory, and customer requirements across EU and US markets.
Act as a reference point for complex QC cases, mentoring junior team members and guiding review standards.
Identify recurring issues and drive process improvements in QC workflows, checklists, and templates.

Key Candidate Criteria

Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Translation, Documentation, Quality Management, or related fields.
5+ years of experience in technical editing, documentation QC, or technical writing.
Strong knowledge of European and US standards (ISO, EN, IEC/IEEE, CE, UL, FCC, WEEE).
Experience mentoring or guiding junior colleagues is an advantage.
Fluent in English
