Specialized Bookkeeping Position

Hours: 20–25 hours per week
Pay: $6–$8 USD per hour, based on experience
Location: Remote — Philippines
Schedule: Flexible, with some overlap with U.S. Eastern Time

Host with Wander is a growing U.S.-based real estate, property management, and design company. We are looking for an experienced part-time bookkeeper to manage the books and invoicing for our management and design business.

We already have a separate bookkeeper who handles our individual rental properties.

Responsibilities
Maintain accurate books in QuickBooks Online.
Reconcile monthly bank and credit-card statements.
Track design purchases and expenses by property.
Prepare invoices to individual property LLCs for design services, furnishings, supplies, project fees, and reimbursements.
Attach receipts and supporting documentation to invoices.
Track paid, unpaid, and unbilled expenses.
Prepare monthly financial reports.
Coordinate with our property bookkeeper and CPA.
Assist with reconciling and closing out the books for an Amazon business we are discontinuing.
Requirements
At least three years of bookkeeping experience
Strong QuickBooks Online experience
Experience working with U.S.-based businesses
Experience with invoicing, reconciliations, and accounts receivable
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
Excellent written and spoken English
Highly organized, accurate, trustworthy, and proactive

Experience with real estate, interior design, construction, project accounting, Amazon Seller Central, A2X, or Link My Books is a strong plus.

You will receive QuickBooks access and copies of financial statements but will not have authority to transfer funds or make payments.
