We are hiring a hands-on AI Engineer to turn business bottlenecks, scattered information, and repetitive work into secure, reliable systems the team will use.

You will own implementation: identify the problem, d ---------- whether AI or standard automation is appropriate, build and test the solution, launch it, train the team, and maintain it.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Build AI agents, assistants, internal tools, and workflows for operations, sales, marketing, content, and client support.
• Develop a searchable company knowledge system using documents, training materials, transcripts, policies, and FAQs.
• Build retrieval and semantic-search workflows, including ingestion, chunking, embeddings, indexing, citations, and access controls.
• Use LLM APIs, structured outputs, tool calling, and multistep agent workflows.
• Connect business platforms through REST APIs, webhooks, databases, and automation tools.
• Write maintainable code and use source control, testing, documentation, and sound deployment practices.
• Evaluate accuracy, latency, cost, reliability, and usability. Implement permissions, logging, monitoring, fallback behavior, and human approval where needed.
• Troubleshoot integrations, prevent silent failures, train nontechnical users, and measure business impact.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated experience building and deploying AI applications or automations used in a real business environment.
• Practical experience with LLM APIs, AI agents or tool-calling workflows, and retrieval or knowledge-management solutions.
• Strong programming ability in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or a comparable language.
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, databases, data transformation, authentication, and application security.
• Strong English communication, troubleshooting, documentation, and independent problem-solving skills.
• Reliable internet and a professional remote working environment.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Make, Zapier, n8n, GoHighLevel, Kartra, Asana, Google Workspace, vector databases, AI evaluation frameworks, cloud deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD. Experience supporting a growing startup, coaching organization, or digital-education business is helpful.

AI PROFICIENCY REQUIRED

Practical AI proficiency is essential. Verify outputs against reliable information, test edge cases, reduce unsupported answers, and protect confidential company, employee, client, and customer data. Include human review when automation would create unnecessary risk.

YOUR FIRST 14 DAYS

Audit existing tools and workflows, identify high-impact opportunities, and produce a prioritized 30-, 60-, and 90-day roadmap. Build and demonstrate a prototype or production-ready workflow, document it, train the appropriate users, and define measures for accuracy, adoption, time saved, and business impact.

This role requires comfort with changing priorities and occasional urgent support outside traditional business hours.
