About the Role

Molecular Biologist (Independent Contractor) — Preclinical & IND-Enabling Studies
We’re a biotech company seeking an experienced molecular biologist for contract work on preclinical programs, including IND-enabling study design and execution support.
What you’ll do
Design and review preclinical study protocols for small-molecule or biologic programs. Support IND-enabling packages: pharmacology, toxicology, and safety study planningWork with animal models — efficacy, PK/PD, and GLP-aligned study designDesign and optimize siRNA sequences, including off-target analysis and delivery considerations. Apply genetics and molecular biology techniques — cloning, gene editing, expression analysis. Analyze and interpret study data; draft reports suitable for regulatory review. Coordinate with CROs and external labs on study executionWhat we’re looking for PhD in molecular biology, genetics, pharmacology, or a related field. Hands-on experience with preclinical animal models and IND-enabling studies. Experience in siRNA design, gene silencing, and related nucleic ---------- with FDA guidance and GLP expectationsStrong written English — you’ll be producing reports and protocols. Must be able to work US hours — overlap with US Eastern or Pacific time is required. Ability to work independently as a contractor, with reliable internet and a home office setup. Engagement
Contract basis, remotePay: eight to ten US dollars per hour, paid biweekly Flexible hours; roughly twenty to forty hours per week depending on project needs initial contract of three to six months, with extension based on your performance.
