Senior SEO Developer

We are looking for a hands-on Technical SEO Developer who can implement SEO changes directly, not just recommend them.

This role is for someone comfortable working inside CMS files, templates, and codebases to improve crawlability, performance, and keyword rankings. If your experience is mainly content SEO, reporting, or tool-based optimization, this role will not be a good fit.

What You Will Do

• Audit and implement technical SEO fixes related to:
• Crawlability and indexation
• Site architecture and internal linking
• Canonicalization and rendering issues
• Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile performance
• Work directly within:
• WordPress (themes, plugins, core files)
• Shopify (Liquid templates, SEO constraints, performance)
• PHP-based platforms (e.g. OpenCart or similar)
• Implement structured data and technical enhancements at code level
• Optimize websites for traditional search and AI-driven search experiences (GEO / GSEO)
• Take ownership of ranking performance and SEO KPIs
• Use SEO tools to diagnose issues, but rely on implementation, not automation alone

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on technical SEO implementation
• Comfortable editing live websites and templates
• Working knowledge of:
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript (rendering understanding required)
• PHP and Shopify Liquid
• Experience working directly inside:
• WordPress, Shopify, and PHP-based e-commerce platforms
• Strong understanding of:
• Google Search Console
• Ahrefs / Semrush
• Screaming Frog, Lighthouse, GTmetrix
• Able to clearly explain why SEO actions are taken and how they affect rankings
• Good command of spoken and written English

Nice to Have

• Experience with SQL or Python / Node.js for SEO automation
• Practical exposure to Generative Engine Optimization (GEO / AI search)
• Proven examples of technical changes leading to ranking improvements

• Candidates who rely mainly on plugins, widgets, or third-party apps without understanding the underlying technical mechanics will not be suitable
• You must be comfortable implementing changes yourself
