Roofing Cold Caller / Appointment Setter – U.S. Homeowners
Confidential employer
Everlast Roofing & Restoration is a Colorado roofing company looking for an experienced Cold Caller / Appointment Setter to contact homeowners in areas affected by hail and severe weather and schedule qualified roof inspections for our sales team.
This is not a customer service position and it is not an inbound lead position. You will be making outbound calls to U.S. homeowners every day.
Your main job is simple: have real conversations, identify homeowners who may have storm damage, handle basic objections, and book qualified inspection appointments.
We provide the homeowner lists, dialing system, script/framework, training, and appointment calendar.
We are looking for someone who already understands cold calling and does not need to be convinced to pick up the phone.
What we care about most:
- Strong, clear spoken English
- Natural conversational delivery — not sounding like you are reading a script
- Previous cold calling or appointment-setting experience
- Experience calling U.S. homeowners strongly preferred
- Roofing, solar, insurance restoration, real estate, or home-services calling experience is a major plus
- Comfortable handling rejection and objections all day
- Reliable attendance and consistent calling activity
- Able to take coaching and quickly adjust their approach
- Accurate notes and appointment information
- Reliable internet, computer, headset, and quiet work environment
Performance will be measured primarily by qualified inspections booked, appointment quality, show rate, calling activity, and consistency.
This position can grow into a long-term role with increased responsibility and compensation for someone who performs.
Compensation: $6/hour + performance bonuses.
Schedule: 30–40 hours per week during U.S. Mountain Time calling hours.
TO APPLY:
Start your application with the word HAIL.
Then send:
-A short summary of your cold-calling experience, including what industries you called for.
-Approximately how many outbound calls you made per day in your most recent calling role.
-Your average appointments booked per day or week.
-Whether you have called U.S. homeowners before.
-A link to a 60–90 second voice recording.
-In the recording, first introduce yourself for about 20 seconds. Then read the following as naturally as possible:
“Hey John, this is Mia with Everlast Roofing & Restoration. I’m reaching out because we’ve been working with a few homeowners in your area after the recent hailstorms. I just wanted to see if anybody has taken a look at your roof yet for possible storm damage?”
Do not send an AI-generated voice recording.
Finally, briefly answer this question in your application:
A homeowner says, “I’m not interested. My roof is fine.” What would you say next?
Applications that do not include the voice recording and answers above will not be considered.
