ABOUT ONE WAY UK
One Way UK is a Christian business and ministry dedicated to equipping churches, children's workers, ministries and Christian communicators with creative tools that help them share the message of the Gospel.
We design and manufacture puppets, provide training, create ministry resources and run events that equip people to communicate creatively and effectively.
At the heart of everything we do is a desire to see people equipped, encouraged and inspired to make a difference.

You'll help take responsibility for the day-to-day marketing of One Way UK.
THIS ISN'T SIMPLY A SOCIAL MEDIA POSTING ROLE!
You'll work closely with the Managing Director to plan and deliver marketing campaigns across our products, resources, training and events. You'll help take ideas, priorities and content and turn them into consistent, engaging and measurable marketing activity.
A big part of the role will be establishing a strong rhythm of marketing throughout the year, nurturing our existing audience, reaching new people and building a stronger community around One Way UK.
-KEY RESPONSIBILITIES-
-EMAIL MARKETING-
- Create, schedule and send marketing email s and newsletters.
- Build campaigns around products, events, training and resources.
- Segment audiences and repurpose existing content into engaging email s.
- Develop, build and manage automated email nurture campaigns and customer journeys.
- Monitor results including opens, clicks, responses and conversions.
-MARKETING CAMPAIGNS-
- Work alongside the Managing Director to plan and develop marketing campaigns.
- Turn campaign ideas into coordinated activity across email , social media, graphics, video and other channels.
- Coordinate campaigns around product launches, events, training and ministry resources.
- Help maintain a consistent rhythm of marketing throughout the year.
- Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve results.
-SOCIAL MEDIA & COMMUNITY-
- Manage and schedule content across One Way UK's social media channels.
- Turn ideas, photographs, videos, products and existing material into engaging content.
- Help build a genuine community rather than simply broadcasting adverts.
- Engage appropriately with comments and conversations.
- Identify opportunities for useful, engaging and shareable content.
-GRAPHIC DESIGN-
Create professional, on-brand graphics for social media, events, products, email campaigns, promotions and ministry resources.
We currently use Canva and have our branding and existing designs set up there. However, if you have another preferred design tool or workflow, we're open to considering it.
-VIDEO & REELS-
We're not looking for a professional video editor, but you should be comfortable taking existing footage and turning it into simple, engaging content, including:
- Basic editing and uploading of videos such as podcasts and tutorials.
- Cutting longer videos into shorter clips and Reels.
- Adding captions, titles and simple graphics.
- Repurposing video content across different platforms.
-OUTREACH-
Outreach will occasionally form part of the role around particular campaigns and opportunities. This may include researching relevant churches or potential customers, creating targeted contact lists and supporting email outreach campaigns.
This isn't primarily a lead-generation role, but outreach is one of the tools we'll use alongside our wider marketing activity.
-PAID ADVERTISING-
Paid advertising isn't currently a major part of our marketing activity, but it's an area we want to develop.
As our marketing grows, you'll have the opportunity to help us create, manage and optimise paid advertising campaigns to reach new audiences and generate measurable sales.
Previous experience with platforms such as Meta Ads or Google Ads would be an advantage, but isn't essential.
-YOUR FIRST CAMPAIGN-
Your first major project will be helping us market the EQUIP FESTIVAL, our Christian creative ministry event.
You'll work alongside the Managing Director on email marketing, social media, graphics, video content, targeted outreach and other activity designed to drive registrations in the final weeks before the event.
Beyond Equip, you'll help us establish a consistent rhythm of marketing around our products, training, resources and events throughout the year.
The aim isn't simply to keep our marketing channels busy. It's to intentionally communicate the right things, to the right people, at the right time.
-WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR-
We're looking for someone who:
- Is proactive and comfortable taking ownership.
- Is creative, driven and organised.
- Has strong written English.
- Understands social media and digital marketing.
- Is confident creating graphics using tools such as Canva.
- Has good experience with email marketing.
- Can perform basic video editing for social media.
- Pays attention to detail.
- Can take an idea and turn it into something practical.
- Contributes ideas rather than simply waiting to be given tasks.
- Is willing to learn new software, systems and marketing techniques.
- Understands that good marketing should produce measurable results.
Experience with GoHighLevel (GHL), email automation, Canva, Shopify and paid advertising platforms would be an advantage.
-UNDERSTANDING OUR AUDIENCE-
Because One Way UK primarily serves churches, Christian ministries and Christian communicators, it's important that you're comfortable working within a Christian organisation and understand the audience we're communicating with.
An understanding of church ministry, children's ministry or Christian organisations would be particularly valuable.
-WORKING ARRANGEMENTS-
This is a FULL-TIME, FULLY REMOTE POSITION BASED IN THE PHILIPPINES.
We're happy to offer some flexibility around your working hours to accommodate the time difference between the Philippines and the UK. However, you'll need to be available for an agreed period each working day that overlaps with UK working hours so that we can communicate, collaborate and work on campaigns together.
As this is a remote position, you'll need your own reliable computer, a strong and stable internet connection and a suitable environment in which to work.
WORKING HOURS: [40 hours a week, with overlap with UK time]
We're looking for someone who wants more than simply another remote job. As One Way UK grows, there will be opportunities to take greater ownership, develop your marketing skills and grow with the organisation.
