Virtual Assistant -eBay Listing & Customer Support Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented, reliable Virtual Assistant to help manage and improve our eBay listings for appliance parts. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently, has strong attention to detail, and understands how to use AI tools and online research to identify appliance compatibility.

The primary focus will be editing product photos, improving product listings, researching compatible appliances, and providing occasional customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

Photo Editing

• Edit and enhance photos of appliance parts for use in eBay listings.
• Crop, resize, straighten, and improve images as needed.
• Remove or clean up distracting backgrounds when appropriate.
• Ensure photos are clear, professional, and accurately represent the actual part.
• Create clean, consistent listing images while avoiding edits that could misrepresent the product.

eBay Listing Management

• Review, edit, and update existing eBay listings for appliance parts.
• Use AI tools and online research to identify appropriate appliance brands, models, and model numbers that are compatible with each part & add relevant compatibility information to listing.
• Identify missing or unclear information and flag anything that needs clarification before publishing.
• Maintain consistency and accuracy across listings.

Customer Service

• Occasionally respond to customer messages through eBay.
• Answer basic questions regarding parts, compatibility, shipping, and listings using provided information.
• Escalate questions or issues that require owner approval.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience with eBay listing management or e-commerce is strongly preferred.
• Strong photo editing skills and familiarity with tools such as Lightroom, Photoshop, Photopea, or similar software.
• Comfortable using AI tools such as Google Gemini for research, writing, and organizing information.
• Strong online research skills, particularly the ability to identify appliance brands, models, and compatibility information.
• Excellent written English and strong communication skills.
• Extremely detail-oriented and able to spot errors in model numbers, part numbers, and compatibility information.
• Able to follow instructions and established processes consistently.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable, organized, and responsive.
• Experience with DropBox and Google Drive.
