Experienced Shopify Developer & Store Specialist — Long-Term Position

We are looking for a highly experienced Shopify developer and store specialist for long-term cooperation.

The right candidate must understand Shopify thoroughly—from complete store setup and backend configuration to advanced theme customization, Liquid development, application integration, troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance.

This position is specifically for a Shopify expert—not a general virtual assistant, basic web designer or product uploader.

Shopify responsibilities

• Build complete, professional Shopify stores from the beginning
• Configure Shopify settings, domains and store preferences correctly
• Install and customize Shopify Online Store 2.0 themes
• Create custom sections, blocks, templates and product-page features
• Work confidently with Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Configure products, variants, collections, tags, metafields and metaobjects
• Build professional, conversion-focused product and landing pages
• Configure menus, navigation, filters, search and collection structures
• Set up cart drawers, bundles, quantity discounts and upsells
• Configure payment gateways and Shopify checkout settings
• Set up shipping zones, shipping rates and delivery settings
• Configure Shopify Markets, currencies and international selling settings
• Install, configure and troubleshoot Shopify applications
• Identify and resolve application conflicts and theme errors
• Configure Meta Pixel, Google Analytics 4 and Shopify Customer Events
• Set up email notifications, abandoned checkouts and customer accounts
• Optimize Shopify store speed and mobile performance
• Handle redirects, structured data and Shopify technical SEO
• Test checkout, payments, discounts, shipping and tracking before launch
• Provide ongoing Shopify maintenance, updates and technical support

Required Shopify expertise

• At least three years of professional Shopify experience
• Advanced knowledge of Shopify Liquid
• Strong understanding of Shopify Online Store 2.0
• Strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills
• Experience creating custom Shopify sections and theme functionality
• Thorough knowledge of the Shopify Admin system
• Experience with Shopify applications and third-party integrations
• Understanding of Shopify Markets, payments, shipping and taxes
• Experience configuring Meta Pixel and Shopify tracking
• Strong mobile-responsive development and testing skills
• Ability to diagnose and solve Shopify problems independently
• Careful attention to detail and reliable quality control
• Clear communication and respect for deadlines

Experience with Shopify CLI, Git, Shopify APIs, Shopify Functions, custom applications, Checkout Extensibility or Shopify Plus is a strong advantage.
