Overview
RhinoUSA is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Global Logistics Specialist to manage and optimize the flow of products from manufacturers to destinations around the globe. This critical role ensures seamless coordination, tracking, and receiving of containers while maintaining accurate landed costs and ownership of all importing/exporting processes.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, a subject matter expert in global logistics, and passionate about ensuring supply chain excellence. With key performance indicators (KPIs) including container utilization, delivery lead times, and shipping costs, this role is essential to our global operations. As the Point of Contact for global logistics it will be important that responsiveness, professionalism, and accuracy are top skill sets for this role.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Container Booking, Tracking, and Coordination
-Track, coordinate, and monitor all containers from manufacturer to destination, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
-Book containers, manage shipping schedules, and oversee the entire transit process for global shipments.
-Ensure delivery lead times from port to 3PL meet established targets and resolve delays or issues proactively.
-Book containers for shipment to selling country within SLA from GRD.

Importing/Exporting Expertise
-Own and manage the entire importing/exporting process, including customs documentation, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
-Act as the subject matter expert on global logistics, advising on best practices and process improvements.

Reporting and Analysis
-Build and maintain dashboards to track key metrics, including container utilization rates, delivery lead times, and shipping costs per pound.
-Identify trends and propose solutions to optimize global logistics performance.
-Maintain relationships with key logistics partners to ensure lowest cost, highest quality service.
-Report weekly on containers in transit and any delays that might be relevant.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
-8-10 years of experience in global logistics, import/export, or supply chain operations.
-Proficiency in demand planning software and tools, with experience in Shopify, Inventory Planning Systems, ERP systems ( ---------- ), and ---------- preferred.
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
-Proficient use of Excel for data analysis
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and cultures.
-Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in supply chain management.
-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
-Understanding of global supply chain dynamics and familiarity with import/export regulations
-Passion or interest in powersports and/or outdoor supply industry
-Entrepreneurial spirit a plus

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
-Container Utilization: Achieve and maintain a 95% container utilization rate.
-Delivery Lead Times: Ensure delivery lead times from GRD to Booking, and port to 3PL remain within established benchmarks. --Improve delivery lead times by improving process and timeliness of response and resolution.
-Shipping Costs: Optimize and track shipping costs per pound, reducing expenses without sacrificing service quality.
