Instagram DM Setter / Recruiting Appointment Setter

We are a fast-growing U.S.-based life insurance agency looking for a highly motivated DM Setter to help us recruit new insurance agents and salespeople through Instagram.

Your primary responsibility will be to have conversations inside Instagram DMs, qualify potential candidates, and book qualified prospects onto our recruiting calendar.

This is NOT a social media posting position.

Your job is to start conversations, follow up, handle basic objections, create interest, and BOOK CALLS.

What You’ll Be Doing
Respond to people who engage with our Instagram content and recruiting ads
Start conversations with potential insurance agents and salespeople
Send outbound DMs to qualified prospects
Follow our recruiting DM scripts and conversation framework
Ask qualifying questions to determine whether someone is a good fit
Explain our opportunity at a high level without over-selling through DMs
Move qualified prospects toward booking a recruiting call
Send calendar links and confirm appointments
Follow up with prospects who stop responding
Follow up with people who are interested but haven't booked yet
Keep conversations organized and make sure leads do not fall through the cracks
Update prospect information and appointment status inside our CRM/tracking system
Communicate daily with our recruiting and management team
Your Main Goal

Book qualified recruiting calls onto our calendar every day.

We are not looking for someone who simply sends messages.

We want someone who understands that their job is to move conversations forward and turn interested prospects into appointments.

Able to write naturally and conversationally
Fast at responding
Persistent with follow-up without sounding annoying

Comfortable starting conversations with strangers

Coachable and willing to follow scripts/processes
Able to work independently
Reliable and consistent
Comfortable being measured based on performance

DM setting
Appointment setting
Recruiting
Sales
Lead generation
Instagram outreach
High-ticket sales
Insurance recruiting
How Performance Will Be Measured

Your performance will primarily be measured by:

Number of conversations started
Response rate
Follow-up activity
Qualified prospects generated
Recruiting calls booked
Show rate
Quality of appointments booked

We care about quality AND volume.

Booking 20 unqualified people is not better than booking 10 great candidates who actually show up and are interested.

Schedule

This is a remote position.

You should be available during U.S. Eastern Time hours, especially during the times when our prospects are most active.

Some flexibility may be required because Instagram conversations can happen throughout the day.
