High Pacing UGC & Short Form Video Editor (After Effects / Premiere Pro)

About the Role:
We are looking for an elite Short Form Video Editor to turn raw, talking head UGC footage into high converting, highly engaging vertical videos (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).
We do NOT want simple cut and stitch edits with generic automatic captions. We need high retention post production with advanced visual hooks, dynamic motion graphics, and clean audio design.
Required Technical Capabilities:
Fast Paced Editing & Speed Ramping: Expert control of velocity zooms, speed ramping, and punch ins. Zero static shots lasting longer than 2.5 seconds.
Kinetic Typography: Custom word by word highlighted captions with pop up animations, custom fonts, and strict adherence to platform UI safe zones.
Rotoscoping & Advanced Visual Overlays: Ability to mask/rotoscope the speaker over dynamic background graphics, data sets, and screen captures.
Animated UI Integration: Creating smooth, animated website screen recordings and cursor/UI overlays (not flat, static screenshots).
Sound Design: Layering targeted audio FX (whooshes, pops, risers, bass drops) synced to every visual animation/transition keyframe.
Audio Engineering: Professional voice normalization (consistently sitting at -6 dB to -10 dB) and background noise cleanup.

If your current work does not show high retention UGC editing, speed ramping, rotoscoping, or sound design, your application will be ignored.
2. Paid Test Edit:
If your portfolio impresses us, we will send you a raw video file sample. You will be asked to edit this raw footage using all the requirements listed above to prove your ability to turn raw content into a high end finished piece before a final hire offer is made.
