About the Role

Take an unclear business problem. Build the path. Drive it to completion. This role is for a high-agency operator who can turn CEO priorities into organized projects, coordinate the right people and resources, and get implementations finished.

THE OPPORTUNITY
ABC Home Buyers is a lean Pennsylvania real estate investment company building the systems, people, and execution capacity needed to scale. We are hiring a Strategic Projects & Implementation Manager to sit between strategy and execution. The CEO will define the outcome and make major strategic decisions; you will determine how approved initiatives get organized, researched, staffed, and implemented.

This is not an Executive Assistant role, a task-following Project Coordinator role, or a full Operations Manager role. The value of this seat is turning ambiguity into structure and then driving the work through completion.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

  • Convert priorities and unresolved business problems into clear projects with objectives, deliverables, owners, dependencies, timelines, and decision points.
  • Research unfamiliar problems, compare approaches, gather missing information, and bring practical recommendations instead of open-ended questions.
  • Source, screen, and coordinate vendors, freelancers, specialists, and internal support required for implementation.
  • Drive projects through execution by tracking milestones, following up, resolving blockers, and keeping work from stalling.
  • Build or improve workflows, SOPs, dashboards, CRM processes, templates, automations, and other business systems as projects require.
  • Test, document, and hand off completed implementations so the result is actually usable in day-to-day operations.
  • Bring CEO decisions in a concise format: problem, findings, options, tradeoffs, recommendation, and specific decision required.

MUST-HAVES These are required to advance in the hiring process.

  • Demonstrated experience taking an ambiguous project, business problem, or initiative from unclear starting point through implementation.
  • Strong ownership and follow-through; able to move work forward without constant supervision, chasing, or step-by-step direction.
  • Structured problem-solving and research ability; comfortable figuring out unfamiliar problems and making recommendations.
  • Strong project execution across multiple people, dependencies, deadlines, follow-ups, and changing information.
  • Excellent spoken and written English, with the ability to synthesize complexity into clear updates and decision packages.
  • Sound judgment about what can be d ---------- independently versus what should be escalated to the CEO.
  • Availability for approximately 20 hours/week with meaningful overlap during U.S. weekday business hours.

PREFERRED — NOT REQUIRED

  • Experience working directly with a founder, owner, or senior executive in a small or entrepreneurial business.
  • Experience sourcing and managing vendors, freelancers, consultants, or specialists.
  • Experience building or improving SOPs, workflows, dashboards, CRM/business systems, or light automations.
  • Comfort with Google Workspace, project boards, AI/research tools, and modern business software.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • CEO priorities move from vague idea/problem to a clear implementation plan without requiring the CEO to architect every step.
  • Assigned projects progress predictably and reach the agreed definition of done rather than remaining partially built or perpetually in progress.
  • Vendors, freelancers, specialists, and internal support are coordinated effectively without the CEO becoming their project manager.
  • Completed implementations are tested, documented enough to operate, and handed off into day-to-day use.
  • Problems and blockers surface early with analysis, options, and a recommended next action.

How to Apply
Submit: résumé/profile, a short note on your most relevant experience, and a 2-3 minute Loom/video or voice introduction. Describe one ambiguous project you personally took from unclear problem to completed implementation: the problem, your plan, what you coordinated, and the result.
