About the Role

You don't need to come from real estate to succeed here. You do need to know how to communicate, build trust, follow up relentlessly, and move people toward decisions.

THE OPPORTUNITY
ABC Home Buyers is a Pennsylvania real estate investment company working directly with homeowners who want or need a practical alternative to a traditional sale.

We are hiring an Acquisition Specialist to become the day-to-day owner of our priority general seller leads. You will handle qualification, seller relationships, nurture, routine offers and light negotiation, while escalating complex or high-value situations to the CEO.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

  • Own assigned priority seller leads with urgency from first meaningful contact through disposition.
  • Qualify motivation, property condition, timeline, decision-makers, price expectations, and deal viability.
  • Build genuine seller rapport and uncover the real reason behind the sale.
  • Maintain persistent, professional follow-up across short- and long-term opportunities.
  • Discuss pricing, present straightforward offers, handle objections, and negotiate routine deals within approved authority.
  • Move qualified opportunities toward signed agreements and clear next steps.
  • Maintain accurate CRM stages, notes, tasks, and follow-up commitments.
  • Recognize when a deal requires CEO involvement and escalate it early.

MUST-HAVES
These are required to advance in the hiring process.

  • Excellent spoken and written English with the ability to communicate naturally and confidently with U.S. homeowners.
  • Proven experience in sales, acquisitions, negotiation, relationship-based selling, or another relevant seller/customer-facing role.
  • Strong experience communicating directly with U.S. customers, homeowners, or consumers.
  • Comfort discussing money, asking direct questions, handling objections, and moving a conversation toward a decision.
  • Demonstrated follow-up discipline and ability to manage a pipeline/CRM without leads falling through the cracks.
  • Full-time availability for 40+ hours/week aligned with U.S. seller-facing hours.
  • Reliable remote-work setup and ability to participate in calls, training, and team communication consistently.

PREFERRED, NOT REQUIRED

  • Direct real estate wholesaling, investor acquisitions, home-buying, or motivated-seller experience.
  • Experience with probate, inherited property, distressed-property, or other sensitive seller situations.
  • Experience making offers or negotiating purchases over the phone.
  • Experience working in a small, entrepreneurial company where ownership and initiative matter.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • Priority leads are contacted, qualified, and followed up with consistently.
  • Sellers experience professional, consultative communication rather than high-pressure sales.
  • Qualified opportunities advance toward offers and contracts instead of stalling in the pipeline.
  • Routine seller negotiations increasingly happen without CEO involvement.
  • CRM data and next actions remain accurate enough that no valuable lead is lost through poor follow-up.

HOW TO APPLY
Submit: a short voice or video note explaining your most relevant seller-facing or sales experience and briefly describe the type of U.S. customers or sellers you have spoken with and one difficult conversation you handled well.
