PR & Artist Outreach Virtual Assistant — Music & Entertainment

We are a growing entertainment and media company based in Washington, DC, producing two platforms: Big Cypher Couch, a performance platform featuring emerging and established artists, and Spill It, an entertainment interview series featuring artists, influencers, creators, and personalities.
We are looking for a motivated and resourceful PR & Artist Outreach Virtual Assistant based in the Philippines to help us grow our platforms through artist bookings, guest outreach, brand partnerships, and sponsorship opportunities.
This is NOT a basic administrative VA position.
We need someone who is confident researching people, finding the correct contacts, writing professional outreach, following up, and helping turn cold leads into real conversations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Artist & Guest Outreach
Research emerging, established, and viral artists who would be a strong fit for Big Cypher Couch.
Research artists touring or performing in the Washington, DC / Maryland / Virginia area.
Find legitimate contact information for artist managers, publicists, booking agents, labels, and other representatives.
Send personalized invitations to artists and their teams.
Research influencers, entertainers, creators, and personalities who would be strong guests for Spill It.
Follow up professionally with contacts who have not responded.
Sponsorship & Brand Outreach
Research brands that align with our audience and content.
Identify sponsorship, partnership, influencer marketing, PR, and brand marketing contacts.
Send partnership pitches and sponsorship decks to qualified companies.
Follow up with potential partners and help move interested leads into conversations with our founder.
Lead Management
Maintain an organized outreach tracker/CRM.
Track contacts, email s, dates contacted, follow-ups, responses, and status.
Keep an active pipeline of potential artists, guests, sponsors, and partners.
Provide weekly reports showing outreach activity and results.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You should be:
An excellent English writer and communicator.
Very comfortable with online research.
Able to find decision-makers and contact information beyond simply Googling a company.
Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and entertainment culture.
Persistent with follow-ups without becoming spammy.
Organized and able to manage a large number of leads.
Comfortable communicating professionally with artist managers, publicists, brands, agencies, and executives.
Able to personalize outreach instead of sending the exact same message to everyone.
Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision.
Experience in public relations, influencer outreach, music marketing, artist relations, sponsorship outreach, lead generation, talent booking, or entertainment is strongly preferred.
HOURS
Approximately 15–20 hours per week to start.
This is intended to become a long-term position for the right person. There may be an opportunity for increased hours and responsibilities as our platforms continue to grow.
IMPORTANT
We are not looking for someone whose strategy is simply sending hundreds of generic cold email s.
Quality matters more than volume.
We want someone who can research why an artist, guest, or company makes sense for our platforms, find the appropriate person to contact, personalize the pitch, and follow up until we receive an answer.
