AI Creative Editor (Image Editing) — Dropshipping Ads
Confidential employer
About Us:
We run multiple fast-growing health & beauty e-commerce stores. Our marketing runs on Meta Ads, and creative quality is central to our growth. We're looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Creative Editor who understands why ads need to be localized — not just how to edit or create them.
The Role:
This is not a general AI-art or graphic design role. We source high-performing competitor ad images from other markets and adapt them for our own brands and audiences. You'll also create new variants of our winning ads to keep campaigns fresh and combat ad fatigue. You'll be using AI tools to edit backgrounds, elements, text, and visual details — but the real skill is understanding what needs to change and why so the ad resonates with a new market, audience, and regulatory environment, while keeping the elements that make it convert.
What You'll Do:
- Edit and localize competitor ad images for our own campaigns across three markets
- Adapt visual elements (models, settings, text, cultural references, packaging, etc.) so ads feel native to each target market — not just visually different, but market-appropriate
- Create new variants of our own winning ad creatives (different backgrounds, angles, elements) to refresh campaigns and reduce ad fatigue
- Use AI tools to modify backgrounds, elements, and details in images
- Write and refine prompts to get precise, high-quality AI-generated edits
- Understand and preserve the core conversion elements of a winning ad while adapting or varying it
- Collaborate closely with our swipe research and media buying team
- Maintain consistency and quality across a high volume of image edits
Requirements:
- Experience in e-commerce / dropshipping marketing is required — you must understand how paid ad creatives work and why localization matters for conversion, not just aesthetics
- Proven experience with AI image editing tools (e.g., Higgsfield, Gemini or similar)
- Strong prompt-writing skills — you know how to get AI tools to produce the exact result you want
- Sharp eye for detail — small inconsistencies should jump out at you
- Available minimum 15 hours/week
- Reliable internet connection and own equipment
- Good written English (business communication is in English)
Important:
We regularly receive applications from candidates who are strong with AI tools but have no e-commerce or dropshipping background. Please note: AI skills alone are not enough for this role. If you don't have experience working with paid ad creatives / e-commerce marketing, please don't apply — you won't be a fit.
What We Offer:
- Paid hourly
- Long-term, ongoing position (not a one-off project)
- Growth opportunities within the team as we scale
- Direct feedback loop with the marketing team to sharpen your skills
How to Apply
Please apply with:
- A short intro about your e-commerce/dropshipping experience and your availability
- Examples of before/after AI-edited images, including any variants you've created of an existing ad (portfolio or samples)
- A short answer (2-3 sentences): how and why would you change an ad image when adapting it for a different market?
- Your hourly rate expectation
