About the Role

We are seeking a results-oriented fundraising leader who can design and execute a multi-channel funding strategy that includes grants, sponsorships, corporate partnerships, foundations, and donor cultivation.
This is not a passive writing role. This person is responsible for identifying funding opportunities, positioning our organizations competitively, and securing dollars—consistently.
You will work closely with executive leadership to fund programs, events, training initiatives, scholarships, and long-term growth strategies.
Core Responsibilities
???? Grant Strategy & Writing (Primary)
Research, identify, and prioritize local, state, federal, corporate, and private foundation grants
Develop winning grant narratives aligned with funder priorities
Prepare and submit:
Letters of Inquiry (LOIs)
Full grant proposals
Budgets and program justifications
Track deadlines, compliance requirements, and reporting schedules
Maintain a grant pipeline and funding calendar
???? Fundraising & Revenue Development
Build and execute a diversified fundraising strategy, including:
Corporate sponsorships
Event fundraising (expos, galas, conferences)
Foundation partnerships
Program underwriting
Identify and cultivate high-value funding partners
Create sponsorship decks, funding proposals, and donor pitch materials
Collaborate with leadership on funding targets and revenue goals
???? Relationship Management
Serve as the primary liaison to:
Foundations
Corporate partners
Grant officers
Public agencies
Manage funder communications before, during, and after awards
Prepare impact reports and stewardship updates
???? Systems, Reporting & Compliance
Track funding progress using CRM or grant management tools
Maintain compliance with nonprofit and grant requirements
Prepare post-award reports and renewal strategies
Provide leadership with clear funding forecasts and performance reports
Required Experience & Skills
? Must-Have
3–7+ years of successful fundraising and grant writing experience
Proven track record of securing grants and sponsorships (you must be able to speak to dollars raised)
Strong understanding of:
501(c)(3) and/or 501(c)(6) funding environments
Government and private grant processes
Exceptional writing, storytelling, and proposal development skills
Strategic thinker who understands how to position programs to win funding
Highly organized, deadline-driven, and self-directed
