Part-Time GoHighLevel (GHL) Newsletter Production Assistant

FirstEditing is an established professional editing company looking for a reliable part-time assistant with hands-on GoHighLevel email /newsletter experience.

This is a production and campaign-tracking role, not a marketing-strategy role. We provide the approved newsletter copy, campaign direction, audience rules, links, actions, and branding.

Your job for the newsletter production is to build, test, QA, track, prepare, and report campaigns accurately inside GHL.

Responsibilities

Build approved newsletters inside GoHighLevel from supplied final copy.
Build and maintain approved email campaign funnels/sequences in GHL from supplied strategy, workflow logic, copy, audience rules, and tracking requirements.
Build/edit the HTML email and ensure correct desktop/mobile rendering.
Apply the approved email template and branding.
Insert and test supplied links, buttons, CTAs, images, and destination URLs.
Apply supplied UTM/tracking parameters correctly.
Configure supplied GHL tracked links, click tracking, and campaign actions exactly as instructed.
Verify that tracked buttons/links/actions record correctly before send.
Use only the audience/Smart List/segment instructions provided.
Check desktop and mobile presentation.
Prepare test sends and clearly identify PASS/FAIL issues.
Prepare campaigns for scheduling only after required checks pass.
Never initiate a live newsletter send without explicit authorization.
Record campaign URLs, test results, status, and final campaign information in our existing tracking system.
After live campaigns, retrieve and record campaign statistics.
Flag missing, broken, or incomplete tracking rather than silently reporting incomplete data.

Campaign statistics include

recipients;
delivered;
hard and soft bounces;
spam complaints;
unsubscribes;
unique opens;
unique clicks;
click-through rate;
top clicked links/buttons/actions;
replies where available;
sample requests;
quote requests;
orders;
coupon usage;
attributable revenue where available.

Required

Proven hands-on GoHighLevel email /newsletter experience.
Experience building/editing HTML email s in GHL.
Understanding of tracked links, click tracking, UTMs, buttons, and campaign actions.
Ability to confirm that tracking is actually recording correctly.
Experience retrieving and reporting GHL email campaign statistics.
Strong attention to detail.
Experience checking responsive email formatting.
Good written English.
Ability to follow supplied source material and campaign instructions exactly rather than redesigning or rewriting them.
Reliable communication and ability to work independently.

This role does NOT own

newsletter strategy;
copywriting;
audience policy;
CRM/GHL architecture;
unsubscribe architecture;
automation strategy/design;
final send authorization.

The assistant may implement approved tracking/actions, but does not invent campaign automation or audience logic.

Paid Test — Maximum 90 Minutes

Shortlisted candidates will complete a paid test using a supplied newsletter package.

The test will evaluate:

accurate GHL/HTML build;
correct subject, preheader, body, links, buttons, CTA, and formatting;
desktop/mobile presentation;
link and destination testing;
correct supplied UTM/tracking setup;
correct tracked-link/button/action configuration;
ability to explain how they verify that those actions are recording correctly;
ability to locate and retrieve campaign delivery, bounce, unsubscribe, click, top-link/action, and available conversion statistics;
test-send QA and clear identification of problems;
total time used.

We are looking for someone accurate, efficient, organized, technically comfortable inside GHL, and capable of completing routine newsletter production and reporting without repeated management.
