About the Role

Video Editor | AI Content & Social Media

BrandFi is looking for a reliable video editor who can turn raw footage, creative briefs, and brand assets into polished content for client brands and our own projects.

You should be confident with traditional editing software and AI tools, with a strong eye for pacing, storytelling, and design. We need someone who can work independently, follow clear direction, and deliver on time.

What you’ll work on

  • Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, YouTube Shorts, and social media ads.
  • Promotional videos, product content, and website videos.
  • Turning longer videos into focused, engaging clips.
  • AI-generated visuals, video sequences, and voiceovers where they improve the final result.
  • Captions, motion graphics, sound design, colour correction, and audio cleanup.
  • Adapting videos for different platforms, formats, and brand styles.

Tools and skills

You should be comfortable with professional editing tools such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut. Experience with After Effects or similar motion graphics software is an advantage.

You should also have practical experience using AI tools in your workflow. Tell us which tools you use, what you use them for, and show examples of the finished work.

We care about the quality of your output, not how many tools you list.

What we expect

  • Strong hooks, clean edits, readable captions, and clear messaging.
  • Content that fits the brand instead of relying on the same templates and effects.
  • Fast delivery without careless mistakes.
  • Clear communication and consistent progress updates.
  • Confirmation of the brief and delivery date before starting.
  • Early notice of blockers or missing materials.
  • Organized project files and editable source files at handoff.
  • Respect for client confidentiality and proper use of licensed footage, music, and other assets.

You’ll work with our team across several projects. Stay focused on your assignments, ask relevant questions, and take responsibility for your deadlines.

How to apply

Please send:

1. A short introduction and your relevant experience.
2. Three to five of your strongest video examples, including short-form content and at least one example using AI.
3. What you personally created in each example and which tools you used.
4. Your usual turnaround time for a 30–60-second video, including what that estimate covers.
5. Your weekly availability, time zone, and earliest start date.
6. Your expected rate and preferred payment structure.

We’re looking for someone we can build a consistent working relationship with. Strong editing matters, and so do reliability, communication, and follow-through.
