Web Developer & SEO Specialist — Part-Time to Full-Time

Starting Rate: $4.00/hour + Performance Bonuses
KodyChaseCreative is a growing creative and digital marketing business, and we are looking for a hungry, motivated Web Developer & SEO Specialist to join us as we begin expanding our services into website development, local SEO, and digital marketing.
This position will start part-time, with the goal of transitioning the right person into a full-time position as our client volume grows.
We're not looking for someone who simply wants to clock in, complete a task, and disappear.
We're looking for someone who wants to grow with a company, develop their skills, take ownership of their work, and eventually become a key part of our team.
What You'll Be Doing

• Website Development

Build and maintain websites for small and local businesses
Work primarily with WordPress and modern website builders
Create responsive, mobile-friendly websites
Customize layouts, pages, forms, and functionality
Make website updates and revisions
Improve website speed and performance
Troubleshoot basic website issues
Assist with domains, DNS, hosting, and integrations
Help develop reusable website systems and templates

• SEO & Local SEO

Perform keyword research
Optimize website pages for search engines
Create and optimize title tags and meta descriptions
Improve internal linking
Perform basic technical SEO audits
Work with Google Search Console and Google Analytics
Optimize Google Business Profiles
Help businesses improve their local search visibility
Track rankings and website performance
Create simple monthly SEO reports
Research competitors and identify opportunities

• Creative & Strategy

Because we're a creative agency, we want someone who understands that a website isn't just a collection of pages.
It needs to look good, function properly, represent the brand, and generate results.
You'll work alongside our creative team on branding, photography, graphic design, social media, and marketing projects.
What We're Looking For
You don't need to be an expert in everything.
We're more interested in finding someone who is smart, hungry, reliable, and willing to learn.
You should have:
Experience building websites
Experience with WordPress or similar platforms
Knowledge of HTML/CSS
Understanding of responsive web design
Understanding of SEO fundamentals
Knowledge of local SEO is a major plus
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
Willingness to learn new tools and systems
A problem-solving mindset

This is a starting rate, not a ceiling.
As our client base and workload grow, we want your compensation and responsibilities to grow with them.
