GHL + Meta Ads Marketing Generalist
Confidential employer
GHL + Meta Ads Marketing Generalist
We’re looking for a fast, technically capable marketing generalist who is excellent at implementing digital marketing tasks.
This role is primarily hands-on execution. You will be given clear projects and tasks, and we need someone who can execute them accurately and quickly without requiring extensive training or step-by-step instructions.
If you're given a task like:
“Build this landing page in GHL, connect the form to this workflow, test everything, and let me know when it's ready.”
You should be able to take it from there.
What You’ll Work On
Your work will primarily involve GoHighLevel, Meta Ads Manager, landing pages, funnels, and marketing automations.
Typical projects may include:
Building and editing landing pages in GoHighLevel
Creating forms, surveys and calendars
Building automated workflows
Setting up email and SMS sequences
Connecting forms, calendars, pipelines and automations
Troubleshooting GHL workflows
Setting up Meta Ads campaigns, ad sets and ads
Uploading new creatives and ad copy
Creating and connecting Meta lead forms
Duplicating and organizing campaigns
Installing and troubleshooting Meta Pixel
Setting up conversion events and basic tracking
Connecting domains and subdomains
DNS and SSL troubleshooting
Improving landing-page speed
Testing funnels before launch
Making basic website/funnel changes
Integrating tools through Zapier or similar platforms
Troubleshooting when something isn't working correctly
There will also be miscellaneous technical marketing projects as they arise.
The Person We're Looking For
We want someone who is a jockey inside these platforms.
You shouldn't need to Google how to build your first GHL workflow or where to create an ad inside Meta Ads Manager.
We're specifically looking for someone who has already spent significant time actually doing the work.
You should be able to move comfortably between GHL, Meta, domains, landing pages, automations and tracking without being intimidated by technical problems.
You don't need to be a marketing strategist.
You do need to be extremely good at implementation.
You May Be a Great Fit If...
You:
Have strong hands-on GoHighLevel experience
Are comfortable inside Meta Ads Manager
Can build landing pages quickly
Understand workflows, triggers and automations
Have experience with domains, DNS and SSL
Understand basic Meta Pixel and conversion tracking
Are good at troubleshooting
Learn new software quickly
Work fast without sacrificing accuracy
Follow instructions carefully
Test your own work before calling something finished
Communicate immediately when you're genuinely blocked
Don't need to be chased for updates
Are comfortable working independently
We especially value people who can be given a specific outcome rather than a 20-step SOP.
For example:
“When someone submits this form, tag them as a Meta lead, create the opportunity, send this SMS, start this nurture workflow, and notify our team.”
We expect you to know how to translate that into a functioning system.
Attention to Detail Matters
A project isn't complete simply because it has been built.
Before handing something back, you should QA your own work.
If you build a landing page, check it on desktop and mobile.
If you build an automation, submit a test lead and make sure it fires correctly.
If you create an ad, verify the creative, copy, destination, tracking and lead form.
We want someone whose default mindset is:
Build it → test it → fix it → deliver it.
Not:
Build it → send it to the owner to find the problems.
How to Apply
Please begin your application with the words “BUILD TEST DONE” so we know you've read the entire job post.
Then answer the following:
1. How many years have you worked with GoHighLevel? Tell us what you regularly build inside it.
2. How experienced are you with Meta Ads Manager? What tasks can you confidently complete without assistance?
3. You're given copy and a reference page and asked to recreate the landing page in GHL. How long would you expect this to take?
4. You've built a GHL workflow, but the SMS isn't sending when a test lead submits the form. What would you check first?
5. Have you worked with domains, DNS, SSL certificates, Meta Pixel and conversion tracking? Please describe your experience.
6. Send examples or screenshots of landing pages, funnels, workflows, Meta campaigns, or other relevant work you've personally built.
7. What hours are you available, and how much overlap can you provide with California/Pacific Time?
We're looking for someone who can become our go-to implementation person: we give you the task, you execute it quickly, test it thoroughly, and get it across the finish line.
