Social Media Manager

Looking for a creative and trend-savvy Social Media Manager to help grow my presence across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and
YouTube Shorts. This is a part-time remote position (4-6 hours/week) ideal for someone passionate about short-form video content who can transform raw footage into engaging, platform-optimized content that drives audience growth.
Primary Responsibilities
Edit raw video footage from phone into polished, engaging content for TikTok, with repurposing for Instagram Reels
and YouTube Shorts
Stay current with TikTok trends, viral sounds, and platformspecific best practices
Provide strategic input on content direction and optimization for maximum engagement
Edit podcast clips into compelling short-form content
Transform "day in the life" footage into engaging stories
Maintain consistent posting schedule and content quality
Provide data-driven insights on what content performs best
Suggest creative directions based on platform algorithm updates and trends
Develop and execute content calendar aligned with business goals

Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience with video editing software (CapCut, InVideo, or professional alternatives)
Strong portfolio demonstrating short-form video editing capabilities
In-depth knowledge of TikTok trends, algorithm, and best practices
Experience with cross-platform content optimization
Ability to edit content that maintains audience attention in the first 3 seconds
Strong creative vision and storytelling abilities
Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
Experience growing social media accounts (please provide examples)

Can quickly identify viral trends and adapt content accordingly
Understands audio selection impact on content performance
Has experience editing podcast content for short-form platforms

Technical Requirements
Own computer with sufficient processing power for video editing
High-speed internet connection
