Home Healthcare Billing & NEMT Dispatch Coordinator

A&E Homecare Services is seeking an organized, dependable professional to manage home healthcare claims and billing while coordinating non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) trips. This role helps ensure services are properly authorized, documented, scheduled, billed, and followed through to payment.

Verify Medicaid and insurance eligibility, authorizations, service limits, and required documentation.
Prepare and submit accurate homecare and NEMT claims.
Review denials, correct billing errors, follow up on unpaid claims, and reconcile payments.
Match claims against care plans, EVV records, trip logs, mileage, driver documentation, and authorization details.
Schedule transportation, assign drivers, optimize routes, and communicate trip information.
Confirm pickups, monitor trips, manage cancellations and delays, and document completed rides.
Communicate professionally with clients, caregivers, drivers, case managers, health plans, brokers, and medical offices.
Maintain HIPAA-compliant records and support Medicaid audits and credentialing requirements.
Prepare routine reports on claims, denials, collections, completed trips, cancellations, and driver performance.

The ideal candidate has experience with Medicaid billing, homecare claims, medical transportation dispatch, or healthcare administration. Strong attention to detail, computer skills, telephone communication, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to manage urgent scheduling changes are essential. Experience with CHAMPS, HHAeXchange/EVV, NEMT broker portals, electronic claims systems, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace is strongly preferred.

Preferred experience: 2+ years in healthcare billing, Medicaid claims, homecare administration, transportation dispatch, or a related position.
