Digital Product Designer & Etsy Virtual Assistant

ABOUT THE ROLE:

I am looking for a creative, reliable and motivated Digital Product Designer / Virtual Assistant to help build and grow a new Etsy digital products business.

The main focus of the role will be researching successful digital products on Etsy and creating our own original, high-quality products that are professional, visually appealing and easy for customers to use.

The long-term aim is to build a large portfolio of digital products across several categories, so I am looking for someone who would like to grow with the business.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Your responsibilities will include:

• Researching popular and trending digital products on Etsy
• Analysing successful competitors, listings, customer reviews and product features
• Identifying opportunities for new products and improvements
• Creating original digital products based on research and briefs
• Designing professional Excel and Google Sheets templates
• Creating dashboards, trackers, planners, calculators and business templates
• Creating Canva templates, planners, PDFs and other downloadable products
• Improving the appearance and usability of existing products
• Creating attractive Etsy listing images/mock-ups using Canva
• Writing or assisting with product titles, descriptions and tags
• Organising product files and maintaining a clear product library
• Using AI tools such as ChatGPT to assist with research, ideas, formulas, copy and productivity
• Carrying out general Etsy-related virtual assistant tasks when required

• Personal and annual budget spreadsheets
• Small business finance trackers
• Business dashboards
• Project management templates
• Productivity planners
• Expense and income trackers
• Savings and debt trackers
• Business toolkits
• Professional Excel/Google Sheets templates
• Canva planners and printable templates

WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR:

Ideally, you will have experience with some or all of the following:

• Microsoft Excel
• Google Sheets
• Excel formulas, charts and dashboards
• Canva
• Digital product design
• Etsy
• Product and competitor research
• AI tools such as ChatGPT
• Creating professional-looking documents and templates

You do not need to be an expert in everything.

More importantly, I am looking for someone who is creative, willing to learn, pays close attention to detail and can take an idea and turn it into a polished finished product.

You should also be comfortable researching successful products for inspiration while creating original work rather than copying another seller’s designs or content.

HOURS:

I am initially looking for someone on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to increase hours as the business grows.

Working hours can be flexible provided agreed deadlines are met and communication is good.
