Video Prep Assistant – Clip Editing & Organization (BEGINNERS WELCOME)

We are looking for a reliable Video Prep Assistant to help find, download, trim, and organize video clips and other visual materials for ongoing projects.

BEGINNERS ARE WELCOME! You do not need years of professional experience. We care more about your ability to follow instructions, research efficiently, choose the RIGHT clips, and complete assignments accurately.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will be given information and instructions for each project. Your job will be to find and prepare the visual materials we need.

Responsibilities include:

• Searching online for specific video clips
• Finding relevant interviews, news clips, social media clips, and other requested footage
• Downloading videos
• Finding the exact portions of videos that are relevant to the assignment
• Trimming clips to remove unnecessary sections
• Checking completed clips to make sure no profanity was missed
• Censoring profanity in clips by muting or bleeping curse words without removing important dialogue
• Finding photos, screenshots, articles, or other visual materials when requested
• Clearly naming and organizing files
• Organizing everything so it is ready to use
• Making sure all requested materials are included before submitting the project

THIS IS A PREP POSITION
This is NOT advanced video editing.
You will not receive or edit our voiceover recordings.
Your job is to prepare the clips and visual materials that will later be used to create the finished project.

Basic video editing skills are helpful because you will need to download, trim, and censor clips.

TEST
Applicants who appear to be a good fit will be given a short test assignment. The test will involve finding and preparing clips according to specific instructions.
