Creative Marketer & Media Buyer: Video Editing, Ad Creative, Meta Ads (Lead Gen, UK Hours)
Confidential employer
We run paid lead generation for clients across the UK and US, and for our own brands. Meta ads, automated lead routing, leads sold on a per-lead basis. When the ads work, we get paid. When they don't, we don't. That's the whole business.
Which makes creative the single biggest lever we have. New angles, new hooks, new edits, constantly. That's what this role is really about: making the ads, and then running them.
Read this part carefully, because it's the thing most applicants get wrong.
We already have systems.
Prompt libraries, creative frameworks, script templates, SOPs.
We are not hiring someone to invent a process from scratch, and we're not hiring someone who quietly ignores ours and does it their own way.
We're hiring someone who runs our systems fast, spots where they're weak, and makes them better.
Editing is time-intensive by nature, and the whole point of the systems is that you don't do it the slow way.
If you'd rather build everything manually because that's how you've always done it, this will frustrate both of us.
What you'll actually do
Creative (most of your week)
Edit short-form video ads at volume: UGC-style edits, talking-head cuts, b-roll, captions, hook variations. Multiple finished ads a week, every week.
Write the scripts behind them. Hooks, angles, the whole thing.
Scripts that sound like a person talking, not a brochure.
Write ad copy: primary text, headlines, variations worth testing.
Produce static image ads and thumbnails.
Use AI creative tools properly. AI video generation, AI voice, Claude and ChatGPT for scripting and copy.
This is core to how we produce, not a novelty. You should already be writing your own prompts and getting usable output, not pasting in "write me an ad" and hoping.
Build a real testing rhythm: fresh hooks weekly, kill what's dead, iterate on what's working.
Media buying (the other half)
Launch, monitor and adjust Meta campaigns daily. Budgets, audiences, creative testing, scaling winners, cutting losers.
Connect the two halves.
You made the ad, so you own whether it worked, and you change the next one accordingly.
Report daily on spend, CPL and lead quality, and come to the call with a view on what to change.
Hard requirements
Genuinely strong short-form video editing. This is the core of the job. You'll send us examples and we will watch them properly.
Script and copywriting ability. You can take a brief and turn out a hook and a script that reads naturally to a British or American audience.
Speed. Volume matters here. A beautiful ad a fortnight is no use to us.
Hands-on Meta ads experience. You should be able to talk about a campaign you ran, what it cost, what it produced, and what you changed when it stopped working.
AI tools in your daily workflow. Claude, ChatGPT, AI video and voice tools. We'll ask how you actually use them.
You follow systems. You can pick up someone else's SOP, run it accurately at speed, and improve it rather than replace it.
Strong written English. You're writing ads for UK and US audiences. Clunky copy is an instant no.
A big plus (not required)
We're a small team, so the backend matters too. If you also have any of this, say so clearly in your application. It changes what we can pay and how fast you grow here:
n8n, Make or Zapier. Building and maintaining real automations: lead routing, CRM syncs, notifications, reporting.
CRM and lead-flow operations
Tracking and pixel setup, reporting dashboards
Pay-per-lead or lead generation experience
TikTok or Google Ads
None of these are dealbreakers. Creative and media buying come first. The rest is upside.
What you get
Full-time, remote, long-term. We're building a team, not filling a gap.
Direct access to the founder. No layers, no ticket system.
A tested creative system to work inside, so you're not starting every ad from a blank page.
Paid time off, plus 13th month pay.
Salary reviewed at 3 and 6 months.
Genuine progression. The person who does this well ends up running the creative and media side.
HOW TO APPLY (this is the filter, don't soften it)
Applications that skip any step below get deleted unread. Please don't waste your time or ours.
1. Put this word at the start of your subject line: T-SHAPED
2. Send us a 30-second video of yourself. Loom, an unlisted YouTube link, or Google Drive, whatever's easiest. Just talk to camera and tell us who you are and what you're good at.
No video, no application. This is the first thing we look at.
3. Send us three short-form video ads you personally edited.
4. Attach your CV, plus screenshots or a portfolio showing ads you ran and the Ads Manager results.
5. Tell us your expected monthly rate in PHP and your available start date.
Shortlisted applicants get a short paid test task, a real edit from one of our briefs, before any interview.
We pay for the test.
