Social Media Content Designer – Canva + Reels

I'm looking for a creative freelancer to help create social media content for Instagram and LinkedIn.

This is a small, ongoing role focused mainly on Canva carousel design and short-form video/Reels editing.

I will provide the content, ideas, brand direction, and most of the raw video footage. I'm looking for someone who can take what I provide and turn it into clean, engaging, professional social media content. This is a long-term role.

What You'll Do

• Design carousel posts in Canva
• Turn provided text into visually engaging 5–10 slide carousels
• Edit short-form videos/Reels from provided footage
• Add captions, text overlays, transitions, B-roll, or simple effects when appropriate
• Select appropriate music/audio when needed
• Follow an existing brand style and templates
• Resize or adapt content for Instagram and LinkedIn
• Make occasional revisions

You will not be responsible for writing my main content or developing the entire social media strategy.

What I'm Looking For

• Strong Canva skills
• Experience creating Instagram or LinkedIn carousels
• Experience editing Reels or short-form videos
• Comfortable with CapCut or similar editing software
• Good eye for typography, spacing, visual hierarchy, and clean design
• Understands how to make talking-head videos engaging without over-editing
• Able to follow an established brand while bringing creative ideas
• Reliable, responsive, and able to meet deadlines

This will start as a small part ---------- role, approximately 2–3 pieces of content per week, with the opportunity for more work if we're a good fit.
