AI Agent Engineer / Automation Specialist (Long-Term Retaier)

We are looking for a reliable AI Agent Engineer to help us set up, integrate, and maintain AI agents across our business operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who can both build the systems and explain how they work. We value honest, pleasant, easy communication as much as technical skill.

Setup

• AI agent frameworks: Hermes agent, OpenClaw, Claude AI (Claude Code / MCP)
• Browser automation: Playwright
• Integrations: email , calendar, messaging platforms (e.g. buzz.xyz), and third-party software via API

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain AI agents on our systems
• Connect agents to email , calendar, and messaging platforms
• Build API integrations between agents and our existing software
• Write and maintain custom skills/tools that extend agent capability
• Build browser automation workflows using Playwright
• Set up MCP servers and connectors where needed
• Manage API keys, authentication, and access securely
• Monitor agent performance, troubleshoot failures, and handle updates
• Document each workflow in plain language so we understand and can operate it
• Walk us through the process and train us as systems are rolled out

Technical Requirements

• Hands-on experience deploying and managing AI agents
• Familiarity with Claude, OpenClaw, Hermes, or similar agent frameworks
• Strong Playwright experience (browser automation, scraping, scripted workflows)
• Solid REST API integration skills and comfort with OAuth/webhooks
• Python and/or Node.js
• Experience with email and calendar APIs (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365)
• Comfortable on Linux, command line, and basic server management
• Bonus: MCP server development, n8n/Make/Zapier, local LLM deployment

Work Environment Requirements

• Reliable high-speed internet (fiber preferred) with a documented history of stable service
• Located in an area with minimal power and internet outages
• Backup internet (mobile data/pocket WiFi) and backup power (UPS/generator) strongly preferred
• Reliable computer capable of running development tools and multiple browser sessions
• Quiet workspace suitable for video calls
