micro1 is hiring Software Engineering Specialists for a high-impact project focused on technical analysis and documentation. You'll help shape how next-generation AI systems reason about code — your engineering judgment and writing ability are the qualification, no AI background needed.

💰 $90 – $140/hr

What you'll actually do:
✅ Explain the "why" behind technical decisions — trade-offs, system design, the works
✅ Review code samples and architecture proposals, delivering expert-level written feedback
✅ Write RFCs, ADRs, and design specs that clarify engineering approaches
✅ Run structured code reviews and debug walkthroughs with step-by-step reasoning
✅ Build automation testing strategies and performance analysis reports
✅ Translate complex engineering concepts into clear, accessible language

What you need:
✔️ 3+ years shipping production-grade software on a modern stack
✔️ Real experience writing RFCs, ADRs, design docs, or substantial code review commentary
✔️ Strong system design, performance evaluation, and debugging skills
✔️ Ability to write clearly and persuasively about technical topics

Bonus points for:
⭐ Familiarity with automation testing frameworks
⭐ Experience at leading orgs or well-regarded academic institutions
⭐ You genuinely enjoy writing as much as you enjoy engineering
