Part Time Social Media Content Producer and Video Editor for a Tiny Chihuahua with a BIG Personality!
Confidential employer
We are building the social media presence of Frijolito Bandito Alejandro Cilantro Chavez Johnson, also known as Bean.
Frijolito is a tiny Chihuahua living in Mérida, Mexico. He has a distinct personality, an unusual rescue story and a growing English and Spanish-speaking audience. His content is funny, clever, slightly inappropriate, warm and never generic. Think tiny international celebrity with questionable judgment.
I am looking for someone who can take raw photos, videos and instructions and turn them into polished social media content for Facebook , Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
This is not a position for someone who needs to be taught basic editing, social media formatting or how to use creative software. I can provide the necessary software, but you must already know how to do the work.
What You Will Do
- Organize raw photos and video clips
- Edit short-form videos and Reels
- Edit photos naturally and professionally
- Remove people, hands or distracting objects when instructed
- Preserve Frijolito’s real appearance
- Add captions, sound effects, music, voiceovers and graphics
- Create bilingual English and natural Mexican Spanish content
- Format content correctly for each social media platform
- Follow written instructions and brand guidelines
- Submit every piece of content for approval
- Make requested revisions quickly and accurately
- Schedule or publish content only after receiving written approval
- Maintain an organized content calendar and file system
Non-Negotiable Requirements
You must:
- Have strong short-form video editing skills
- Be experienced with CapCut, Canva or comparable software
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Follow instructions exactly
- Listen carefully and apply feedback the first time
- Be comfortable receiving very direct feedback
- Meet deadlines without repeated reminders
- Communicate clearly when you have a legitimate question
- Never post anything without my approval
- Never change Frijolito’s appearance, coloring, size or facial features unless specifically instructed
- Understand that this brand already has a voice and personality
- Be able to reproduce that voice consistently instead of replacing it with your own
- Keep all photos, videos, drafts and account information completely confidential
I have a short temperament for repeated mistakes, ignored instructions and sloppy work. I am direct, decisive and very clear about what I want. I do not expect perfection without feedback, but I do expect you to listen, execute and avoid making the same mistake twice.
If you need constant supervision, extensive training or repeated explanations, this will not be a good fit.
If you are talented, organized, reliable and enjoy clear direction, this could become a fun and steady long-term position.
The Right Person
The right person understands that funny pet content is still brand content. You should have good comedic timing and know how to make a video entertaining without drowning it in effects, stickers or trendy nonsense.
You should be able to learn Frijolito’s personality and understand the difference between:
- Clever and corny
- Funny and obnoxious
- Professionally edited and obviously overedited
- Natural Spanish and computer-generated Spanish
- Making a suggestion and ignoring instructions
Spanish fluency, particularly Mexican Spanish, is highly preferred. Strong English is required.
Hours and Working Arrangement
- Part-time to begin
- Approximately 10 to 15 hours per week
- Remote
- Flexible working hours, but reliable communication and turnaround times are required
- Long-term opportunity for the right person
- Paid trial project required before hiring
I will provide the raw content, creative direction, account access needed for the position and paid software when appropriate.
Paid Trial Project
Final candidates will receive the same small paid project consisting of photos, video clips and detailed instructions.
You will be asked to create:
- One short-form video
- One edited photo
- One completed social media post package
The test is designed to evaluate your editing ability, organization, judgment, communication and, most importantly, your ability to follow instructions.

10. A description of how you handle direct feedback and revisions
11. Confirmation that you understand nothing may be posted without written approval
12. Confirmation that you are willing to complete a paid trial project
Do not send a generic application or a long list of unrelated services. I want to see relevant work and evidence that you read this entire posting.
Tell me why you believe you can understand Frijolito’s personality, follow an established creative direction and help turn him into a recognizable international pet brand.
If you are creative, fast, skilled and capable of listening before editing, I want to hear from you.
