About the Role

Shopify, Amazon, Social Media and Customer Operations

We are a growing U.S. e-commerce brand seeking a resourceful, detail-oriented specialist who can take ownership of email execution, store operations, AI-assisted content, and customer communication. This is not a basic data-entry role. We need someone who researches first, thinks ahead, communicates complete solutions, and reduces the founder's workload.

Type: Part-time paid trial with a path to long-term full-time employment.

Schedule: 25 paid hours weekly, Monday-Friday, 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. California time.

Starting rate: Firm $7.50 USD per hour.
Payment: Weekly through Remitly.
Start: As soon as the hiring process is complete.

What you will own

Email marketing: audit existing GoHighLevel email work, organize customer segments, verify consent and suppression rules, test lifecycle automations, prepare existing campaign copy, schedule approved sends, and report results.
Social media: turn founder-supplied rabbit-content inspiration into original, on-brand short-form videos, AI-assisted images, posts, captions, and Stories; maintain the content calendar and schedule only approved content across Instagram, Facebook , and TikTok.
Customer communication: review and reply to customer email s, Shopify messages, Amazon questions, social comments and DMs, and ManyChat conversations using the brand voice and escalation rules.
Shopify: manage products, collections, pages, inventory settings, order issues, and store improvements; identify and prevent out-of-stock products from continuing to sell.
Amazon: improve listing titles, bullets, descriptions, images and A+ opportunities; monitor inventory and answer customer questions.
Supplier and product research: organize follow-ups, compare options, and present recommendations without placing orders or making payments.
ClickUp: keep every current and due task updated, document work, and submit a concise end-of-day report.
What success looks like
You search Google, ChatGPT, platform help centers, ClickUp, and company SOPs before asking a question that can be independently answered.

When you need help, you provide the exact account or system, what you researched, what you tried, what happened, your recommended solution, the action or approval needed, and the deadline or business impact.
You prevent customer harm and revenue leakage, catch problems early, and never wait silently when a deadline is at risk.
Your content is original, useful, on-brand, and adapted from inspiration rather than copied.
Every deliverable is tested, documented, and easy for another teammate to understand.

Required experience
Two or more years of hands-on e-commerce or retention-marketing work is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated email campaign, segmentation, list-hygiene, automation, and reporting experience. Experience may be in GHL, Klaviyo, Omnisend, or a comparable platform; GoHighLevel experience is a strong advantage.
Strong Shopify production experience, including inventory, product pages, orders, and store QA.
Practical Amazon Seller Central experience with listings, inventory, and customer questions.
Strong short-form video editing and social content production using tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe, ChatGPT, or other AI creative tools.

Excellent written English, good judgment, and comfort working independently in a small business.
ClickUp or comparable project-management experience.
Approval boundaries

You may not change prices, discounts, offer values, refunds, payment settings, ad spend, purchase orders, customer-data permissions, or permanent/live integrations without written approval. You may research, draft, test safely, and prepare decision-ready recommendations.

How to apply
Begin the first paragraph of your application with the exact words BURROW READY. Applications without this phrase will not be reviewed.

State your requested hourly rate and confirm whether you can accept the firm starting rate and schedule.

List your exact experience with email marketing, Shopify, Amazon, GHL, AI content, short-form video, Meta/Instagram, TikTok, ManyChat, and ClickUp. Separate professional production experience from courses or personal projects.

Provide redacted portfolio links for one email campaign or automation, one Shopify or Amazon improvement, and one short-form or social-content example. Explain your personal contribution and any measurable result.

Record a new two-to-three-minute Loom specifically for this application. Introduce yourself, show one relevant example, explain one difficult problem you solved, and describe what you do before asking a founder for help.

Disclose all current employment, regular freelance work, agency commitments, and recurring clients. Explain when any conflicting commitment will end.

Answer this in 150 words or fewer: You inherit an e-commerce account with several draft welcome and re-engagement workflows, an older published signup flow, and contacts imported from several sources. Before scheduling a campaign, what would you verify, test, and document?

Do not submit a generic application, an old introduction video, or unedited AI drafting instructions. We value clear, honest, specific work over long answers.

Hiring process
Complete application and fresh Loom.
Short written judgment assessment for selected applicants.
Video interview and verification of portfolio, availability, experience, and working style.
Paid practical assignment for top candidates using redacted or sandbox information.
Two-week paid live trial for selected finalists, followed by a long-term decision.
