About the Role

Read this first

If you're primarily a virtual assistant who also knows some basic editing, this isn't the position for you. We're looking for the person whose portfolio makes us say "holy smokes, this person can edit" — attached to someone who is organized, resourceful, coachable, understands branding, priorities, and treats deadlines as fixed, not aspirational or optional. The boss is the brain: strategy, campaigns, message, positioning, filming, selling, relationships. This seat is the implementation engine with some collaboration mixed in: it takes what the boss (and her AI systems) create and gets it all the way across the finish line — edited, on-brand, distributed, verified, done on time. You're not inventing the marketing strategy. You're executing it at a level that makes it look better than the raw material deserved. Please keep going!

#1: Video editing (non-negotiable, required day one)

This is the hiring gate. Not "I know CapCut." Not someone who can technically cut clips together. Premiere Pro proficiency required for long-form: listing films, VSLs, YouTube, interviews, podcasts, complex campaign pieces. CapCut is fine for fast, simple short-form only. You must possess a real command of pacing, storytelling, hooks, B-roll selection, sound design, audio cleanup, color correction, motion graphics, captions, transitions, and retention editing. Have an understanding of how long-form editing differs from short-form. You should be able to coach the boss on production while filming: "your mic is clipping," "leave three seconds before that sentence," "we need B-roll here." There is a real weekly volume expectation: at minimum 15 sub-one-minute shorts, 5 reels, and 1 long-form video (broken down and repurposed) every active campaign week, at professional quality, without falling behind. We are creating several marketing systems in a row so a higher level video editing, posting, repurposing, and retargeting will be a big priority for quite some time. Our marketing IS digital.

#2: Brand execution + creative judgment

The brand is the box. Creativity happens inside the box. The boss is creating an AI Agent - Branding Bianca - to handle most of the canva type assets, but an understanding of brand guidelines, and logos is important. You'll be given approved fonts, colors, logos, end cards, thumbnail styles, and a brand guide. We shouldn't have to explain six months in why something doesn't look like it belongs to us. At the same time, we don't want someone who can only duplicate a template — we want someone who looks at the brand and thinks "I understand this visual language, here's a fresh way to execute this idea that's still unmistakably ours." Different campaigns get different creative nuances (more feminine, more fun, more military/veteran, more luxury-editorial) without ever becoming a different brand. You need to be able to work inside that distinction. The Brand look must stay consistent and strong so as not to confuse the viewers.

#3: Execution discipline (weighted almost as heavily as the editing)

A brilliant editor who can't hit a deadline just produces beautiful unfinished campaigns. We don’t need the staff to be the thing that is slowing the business and the marketing down. Instructions aren't suggestions. If the process says A → B → C → test → verify → report done, that's what happens. "Coachable" doesn't mean waiting to be taught every technique. If you're told something isn't good enough yet, you are expected to ask questions if the explanation is not clear for you, go study strong examples, review what the program says, , figure out the gap, and come back better. Video trainings are available in house for all the marketing systems, tactics and tools that we are to use. Being resourceful is good and expected. Collaboration is good, let’s mastermind on it til we figure it out together, you have your eye and expertise and I have mine. Ask questions. Immediately, if something is blocking the work. You will never be penalized for asking. You will be penalized for silently guessing and delivering the wrong thing.

#4: Technical capacity and real work infrastructure

This is a professional video-production job, so bring professional infrastructure: A computer that can smoothly edit and export long-form 4K/HD Premiere Pro projects without taking half a day to render. Reliable high-speed internet, plus an actual backup plan (a real second location, not a promise). We will ask for your computer specs (processor, RAM, GPU, storage) and internet speed with your application, and the paid trial will confirm whether the setup actually holds up under real deadlines.

#5: What's handled by prescribed process, not independent judgment

These are execution/SOP skills, not strategy skills. You don't need to arrive as an expert in anything but video editing for business marketing — you need to be technically capable and highly coachable, and you follow our system exactly, not one you learned somewhere else. Content repurposing & distribution: turning approved long-form source content into the required derivative assets and pushing them to designated platforms, following our prescribed workflow. Paid advertising (Meta): executing Facebook /Meta campaigns according to our established advertising system — Housing Special Ad Category compliance, audiences, budgets, placements, creative variations, controlled A/B testing (one variable at a time, documented), saving and updating audiences, targeting and retargeting, monitoring, reporting. This is implementation, not independent media strategy. GoHighLevel type CRM: funnels, forms, tags, workflows, pipelines, landing pages, automations, troubleshooting. Prior GHL experience is a strong plus but not required — strong technical learning ability is required. The standard for "done" here is specific: built it, tested it, submitted a test lead, confirmed the contact appeared, confirmed the tag fired, confirmed the workflow fired, confirmed the email /text arrived, confirmed Sherri got her notification, updated the task status. That's what DONE means. Email marketing: building attractive, responsive branded email s and getting bulk sends to actually land — lists/segments, workflow testing, deliverability basics, troubleshooting bounces, reporting. This will be specifically tested; "I can make a pretty email " isn't the bar but style and branding are still important

#6. Who you are

You have a portfolio that proves elite editing, not a résumé that claims it.
Deadline-driven — if I say Friday, it's done Friday. I will be reasonable. I expect respect on deadlines and quality output.
You are coachable without being passive, or passive aggressive. You take direction and ask great questions to gain understanding. We are all just here trying to figure it out.
You are resourceful and attentive..
You are organized enough to consistently run a real weekly production schedule on your own and report on it clearly.
You are comfortable with technology generally — workflows, forms, tags, pipelines, bulk email issues, not afraid to troubleshoot.
Prior real estate marketing experience is a plus, not a requirement.
