Job Posting: Cold Email Outreach Specialist (SDR)
Confidential employer
About the Role
We are a US-based company running two businesses: a digital marketing agency serving contractors and trades companies, and a restaurant group in Georgia doing corporate catering.
We need one person to run cold outreach for both. You will build your own prospect lists, write and send cold email s, make outbound calls, handle replies, and book appointments on our calendar. You own the top of the funnel.
The work splits into two lanes:
Lane 1: Email . Cold email campaigns to home service business owners across the United States for the marketing agency.
Lane 2: Phone. Outbound calls to car dealerships, schools, churches, medical offices, construction companies, and corporate offices in the Atlanta, Georgia area to set up catering accounts. These are short, friendly calls. You are finding out who orders the food and getting our menu in front of them.
You are not closing deals. You book the meeting, we close it. Your job is to fill the calendar.
This is a long term role. We are looking for someone to grow with us, not a short contract.
What You Will Do
Build targeted prospect lists using Google Maps, business directories, and public records
Research and qualify prospects before adding them to a campaign
Write and personalize cold email sequences
Send outreach through cold email platforms (Instantly, Smartlead, or similar)

Send catering menus and quotes after the call, then follow up until you get an answer
Follow up consistently and persistently on warm replies
Track all activity in GoHighLevel and report numbers weekly
Suggest improvements to subject lines, offers, scripts, and targeting based on what you see working
Daily targets you will be held to:
Outbound calls: 60+
New prospects researched and added: 30+
Personalized email s sent: 60+
Replies handled same day
Requirements

Experience building prospect lists from scratch

You have never had to hit a daily activity number
You are juggling multiple other clients

How to Apply
Applications that do not follow these instructions will be deleted without review.
Start your message with the word DRAINFIELD so I know you read this.
Tell me in 3 sentences about the best cold email campaign you have run. Include the actual numbers: how many sent, reply rate, appointments booked.
Write me 3 cold email subject lines you would use to get a septic tank pumping company owner in the United States to open an email about their website getting them more calls.
Record a 45 second voice clip and send the link. In it, pretend you are calling a car dealership in Georgia. Introduce yourself, ask who handles ordering lunch for their sales meetings, and give a one sentence reason they should hear you out. Do not read a script word for word, I want to hear how you actually sound.
Tell me what tools you have used for cold email , calling, and list building.
Tell me your available hours in US Eastern Time.
Do not send a generic resume with no message. I am hiring for writing ability, so your application is your writing sample.
Shortlisted candidates will do a short paid test project before we make an offer.
