The Role

We're building a small rotating pool of editors to handle post-production for our podcast clients, splitting the workload across 1-3 people so no single editor is overloaded and clients still get consistent turnaround. We're looking to outsource a guaranteed minimum of 1-2 episodes per week to start, scaling up as our client base grows.

Every session is recorded in our own studio with the same cameras, mics, and lighting setup per client. Once you build a client's colour and audio presets, they carry over episode to episode, so this job is faster than a typical freelance edit once you're a few episodes in.

Aim for a 5 business day turnaround, no longer than 7.

What You'll Do

Full Episode Edit
Sync multi-camera and audio footage. Tools like AutoPod (works with both Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve) can speed this up, but how you get there is up to you
Colour correct/grade footage to a consistent, high-production standard
Audio treatment (cleanup, levelling, noise reduction)
Switch between camera angles on cuts so jump cuts are hidden and the conversation feels natural
Cut a 30-second intro summary/teaser for each episode
Build a basic title screen using the client's logo, and lower thirds for guests (logo, names, and music all provided by us)

Client Communication

Handle revision requests directly with clients over WhatsApp, friendly and professional
One consolidated round of revisions per episode. No back-and-forth beyond that
Flag any delays early. Don't let the turnaround slip silently

What We're Looking For

Skilled in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
Comfortable colour grading and treating audio to a consistent standard from footage alone, no post supervisor guiding you shot by shot
Experience with footage from 1080p up to 4K, and episodes from short-form up to 2 hours
Conversational English, since you'll be the one talking to clients
