We are an Australian based Accounting firm. We have a team of 17 staff who work in Australia and the Phillipines supporting our client base. Our clients are predominately business owners within Australia. They work with us for full function finance support ( not just compliance and tax )

Our team don't just balance books or help companies stay compliant for the ATO. We are all advisors for our clients and offer solutions, insights and support to our clients that goes beyond reconciliation.
We are growing quickly and will need a qualified accountant to join our team. The hours will be in line with Australian Eastern Standard Time. This is a full time permanent position.
You will work 100% remote and need to have fast internet connection and your own device already.
We are seeking someone who has Australian experience already. The day to day responsibilities will include
Working knowledge of client accounting systems (Xero, MYOB, etc.)
Liaise with statutory authorities (ATO, ASIC)
Reconcile ATO accounts with client records
Resolve queries directly with clients
Prepare provision for income tax (non-complex)
Prepare & finalise BAS/IAS independently
Prepare tax returns (individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies, FBT)
Prepare management accounts (monthly/quarterly) with analysis
Prepare special purpose financial accounts & assist with general purpose accounts
Early-stage direct client involvement
Identify client service improvements/add-value opportunities
Prepare budgets & post journals; review management reports
Present accounts/technical matters internally
Independently manage AP, AR, and payroll
Reconcile all general ledger accounts (P&L and balance sheet)
Perform payroll tax & workers’ comp reconciliations
Bookkeeping & clean-ups (with direction)
Monitor chargeability KPIs and feedback to manager
Identify & report new sales opportunities
Update client org charts & processes
You will develop direct relationships with our clients. All of our clients work with a client relationship manager in Sydney who is a Senior Accountant / CFO level person and this role would be to work alongside our team of CRM's.
Your salary will include HMO, as well as 20 annual leave days and 10 sick leave days per year. We have internal Academy program we run which allows people who are interested in upskilling and working towards more senior roles a guided pathway for development.
