About the Role

We are hiring an exceptional, highly experienced small engine mechanic based in the Philippines for a remote technical-support position.

This is not an entry-level role. Candidates must have genuine hands-on repair experience, excellent spoken and written English, advanced diagnostic ability, and strong computer skills.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

Excellent, professional-level spoken English with clear pronunciation

Excellent written English, grammar, spelling, and reading comprehension

Ability to explain technical information naturally and clearly to North American customers

Five or more years of professional, hands-on small engine repair experience

Advanced knowledge of 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines

Strong computer, online research, email , chat, and typing skills

Reliable computer, quality headset, high-speed internet, backup internet, and quiet workspace

Responsibilities

Diagnose complex engine problems through phone, chat, photos, and video

Guide customers through testing and repairs using clear, simple English

Identify parts using model, type, code, and serial numbers

Read service manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts diagrams

Diagnose fuel, ignition, compression, electrical, governor, valve-train, charging-system, and internal mechanical failures

Document conversations, diagnoses, and recommendations accurately

Communicate patiently and professionally with customers

Manage multiple cases without sacrificing quality or accuracy

Preferred Experience

Ten or more years of professional repair experience

Previous work as a lead technician, shop foreman, service manager, technical adviser, or instructor

Experience with Briggs & Stratton, Honda, Kohler, Kawasaki, Stihl, Husqvarna, Yamaha, Generac, Tecumseh, or similar brands

Familiarity with North American equipment and terminology

Experience using electronic parts catalogs, service databases, ticketing systems, or customer-management software
