AI & Automation Assistant + Dev

We're Sequoya. We build AI agent teams for businesses, and we are growing fast! We have taken on a lot of new clients recently and we need two more people.

On pay, up front so you are not guessing. $1,000 AUD a month is the starting point. It is negotiable depending on experience. More importantly, salary grows in proportion to up-skilling: get good quickly and you will be earning more quickly.

We are hiring for two different roles in this one listing. Read both. Apply once, and tell us which one you think you are.

We are hiring people to grow into these seats, not finished articles. You do not need to have done the exact job before. What matters is that you are technical, hungry, and good at working things out. We will teach you the rest, you will be mentored closely by our founder, and you will get your own AI agent to help you build, plan and get things done.

Role 1: Delivery Lead

You are the person who makes sure client builds keep moving. Right now our founder drives every build personally. That does not scale, and that is why this role exists.

You will not be thrown in the deep end. You start in a delivery admin and project management seat, working closely with our founder and learning how we do things. We do want you to pick it up quickly, because the point is that you grow into the full role.

Where you are heading:

• Own the build schedule. Know what is due, what is blocked, and on what.
• Make sure everything a build needs is ready before it starts, so nobody is waiting around on day one.
• Keep the founder's list clear. Put the things on it that genuinely need him, and handle the rest.
• Own our build pages: the documents that say what a build is and what has to happen in it.
• In time, run builds end to end yourself.

You start on an internal project, not on client work. Your first stretch is on our own systems, so you learn how the business actually works and how we deliver before you go anywhere near a client.

You are a fit if you are organised in a way other people can rely on, you write clearly, you are comfortable around technical things without needing to be a developer, and you chase things down without being asked twice.

Role 2: Junior Engineer

We are hiring this one junior on purpose, and you will not be turned loose on client builds.

You will stand up systems in our own environments, working from templates we have already proven. Moving anything into a client's system is handled by our founder. Your job is to build the thing properly in a safe space, and to get better fast.

What you'll do:

• Build and configure agent systems: automations, integrations, agent workflows.
• Connect things up. APIs, webhooks, and the tools our clients run on.
• Troubleshoot when something is not behaving, and keep it running.
• Document what you built so the next person is not guessing.

You are a fit if you have built real things, you can learn a tool you have never seen before without giving up on it, and you care whether what you shipped actually works.
