Video Assistant for Educational Videos

We are looking for a video assistant to join our team. 🚀

👉 About Us:
JuvaPrep is a growing international test preparation company helping students worldwide ace their IELTS, TOEFL, and CELPIP exams. We are running several YouTube channels where we teach people how to successfully pass English tests (200k+ subscribers).

JuvaPrep was founded by Juva, who took the TOEFL herself to pursue her degree at the University of Oxford. Having walked in our students' shoes, she created JuvaPrep to empower candidates everywhere to realize their dreams of studying, working, and living abroad.

👉 The Job:
We are looking for a video assistant to help us produce engaging videos. At the moment, we use VEED, a browser-based video editor. The work is straightforward: you’ll mainly add slides and B-roll, and occasionally display text on screen. B-roll is especially important in our videos, as it helps keep them dynamic, engaging, and enjoyable to watch. We are therefore looking for someone who enjoys finding and selecting suitable B-roll and has a good sense of how to make a video more entertaining and visually engaging.

Please note: This is not a full-time position. The amount of work will depend on the number of videos that need to be edited. However, we produce videos consistently, so there will likely be regular ongoing work.

👉 Your Skills:
1. You can speak and write English fluently and accurately.
2. No previous video editing experience is required - you’ll learn everything on the job. The ability to work independently and a willingness to learn are essential.
3. You are detail-oriented and creative.

👉 Payment:
We pay $2 per basic video and $5 per dynamic video.
