SYSTEMS INTEGRATION AND AUTOMATION SPECIALIST

We are looking for a highly capable and hands-on Systems Integration & Automation Specialist to manage and maintain our business systems and integrations.

The role will focus on Zendesk, ERP systems, Maropost, Cresco, Shopify, eBay, Amazon and other sales platforms, ensuring that our systems communicate correctly and that integration issues are identified and resolved quickly.

We are looking for someone who can troubleshoot problems independently, understand APIs and system integrations, and work with external software providers or developers when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, configure and maintain Zendesk
• Manage Zendesk triggers, automations, workflows, macros and integrations
• Maintain integrations between Zendesk, Shopify, ERP and other business systems
• Manage Maropost System
• Maintain and troubleshoot API integrations, webhooks and data synchronisation
• Support integrations with Shopify, eBay, Amazon and other sales channels
• Investigate and resolve system errors, API errors and data-sync issues
• Monitor integrations and identify potential problems before they affect business operations
• Work with third-party software providers and developers to resolve technical issues
• Manage API credentials, authentication and integration settings
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive business processes
• Use tools such as Postman, Zapier, Make or similar automation platforms
• Document system configurations, integrations and troubleshooting procedures
• Provide general technical support for our business systems

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in systems administration, systems integration, SaaS administration or a similar role
• Strong experience with API integrations and troubleshooting
• Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, webhooks and API authentication
• Experience with Zendesk
• Experience with Maropost System
• Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms
• Experience working with ERP systems and/or marketplace integrations
• Familiarity with eBay, Amazon or other online marketplaces
• Experience using Postman or similar API testing tools
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript, Python or another programming language is an advantage
• Experience with Zapier, Make or similar automation tools is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good written and spoken English
• Able to work independently and take ownership of technical issues
• Comfortable reading API documentation and learning new systems quickly

Important

This is a hands-on technical role. We are not looking for someone who only knows how to configure Zendesk.

The ideal candidate should be able to investigate an issue such as:

“Orders are no longer syncing from Shopify to the ERP.”

and independently investigate the API, webhook, authentication, data mapping or integration configuration to identify the root cause and either fix it or work with the relevant provider/developer to resolve it.
