Dedicated Executive & Operations VA

Dedicated Executive & Operations VA
I am looking for a long-term Filipino virtual assistant who is reliable, loyal, available during U.S. working hours, and able to take responsibility for online administrative work without needing constant supervision.
Please read this carefully before applying.
First: Do NOT Send Me a Resume
I do not want a resume.
Do not send me a long employment history, certificates, software lists, or paragraphs telling me how skilled, hardworking, dependable, or experienced you are.
If you send me a resume instead of following the application instructions below, I will delete the application.
I am not interested in how impressive you sound.
I want to know whether you can actually help me.
The Two Most Important Qualities: Reliability and Loyalty
This position requires commitment.
I am not looking for:
- An agency
- An entrepreneur building their own business
- Someone managing many clients at the same time
- Someone who will regularly place another client’s work ahead of mine
- Someone who disappears when things get busy
- Someone who misses deadlines because another client needed them first
If there is a conflict between another client’s deadline and my deadline, and my work regularly becomes secondary, this will not be a good fit.
I need someone who can make a real commitment to our team and our deadlines.
I am looking for a long-term working relationship built on trust, dependability, communication, and loyalty.
Christian Faith and Local Church Involvement Are Required
This is a Christian ministry position.
I serve evangelical, born-again pastors, church leaders, ministry leaders, biblical counselors, and Christian organizations. Because of that, the person assisting me must understand evangelical Christian ministry and have meaningful experience in the life of a local Bible-teaching church.
You must:
- Be a born-again Christian.
- Attend an evangelical, Bible-teaching local church.
- Be actively involved in the life of your church.
- Understand basic evangelical Christian language, ministry culture, and church life.
- Be comfortable communicating with pastors and ministry leaders.
- Be able to represent a Christian ministry appropriately and professionally.
This is not simply a preference. It is directly connected to the work you will be doing and the people we serve.
As part of the interview process, I will ask you to provide:
- The name of your local church.
- The name of your pastor.
- Your church website or public church information.
- A brief description of your involvement in the church.
- A letter of recommendation or endorsement from your pastor confirming that you attend and participate in the local church.
Please do not apply if you are not currently part of an evangelical, Bible-teaching local church.
You Must Work During U.S. Hours
This is not a position where all work can be completed independently while I am asleep.
We need to work together.
You must be available for meaningful portions of the U.S. workday and be willing to communicate live when needed.
There will be:
- Zoom conversations
- Voice conversations
- Real-time questions
- Team meetings
- Deadline discussions
- Project updates
Your schedule must allow you to work effectively with a U.S.-based team.
Fluent Conversational English Is Required
You must be able to have a normal conversation with me in English.
I am not looking for perfect grammar or an American accent.
I do need you to:
- Understand normal conversational English
- Speak comfortably
- Ask clear questions
- Explain problems
- Discuss projects
- Understand instructions
- Participate in Zoom meetings
- Communicate without major language barriers
We will speak regularly.
If spoken English is difficult for you, please do not apply.
I Need Someone Who Takes Work Off My Plate
I am a pastor, professor, ministry leader, and administrator.
I need someone who can receive an assignment, understand the goal, and move it forward.
I do not want to manage every small step.
A good candidate will naturally:
- Take initiative
- Follow through
- Meet deadlines
- Communicate before a deadline is missed
- Research before asking unnecessary questions
- Solve routine problems
- Keep projects organized
- Remember commitments
- Follow up
- Notice unfinished work
- Bring me solutions instead of only problems
- Learn new software when necessary
- Take ownership
I want to be able to say:
“Please take care of this.”
And have confidence that it will actually be taken care of.
Be Honest About Your Skills
Do not exaggerate.
If you tell me you are advanced in a software program or skill, I may ask you to demonstrate it.
I would much rather hear:
“I know the basics, but I would need to learn more.”
Honesty and self-awareness matter more to me than an impressive list of skills.
How to Apply
Do NOT send a resume.
Instead, answer these questions briefly:
1. What other clients or jobs are you currently working for, and approximately how many hours per week do they require?
2. What U.S. hours are you available to work?
3. Are you willing to make our deadlines a priority when work has been assigned to you?
4. Why are you looking for one long-term position rather than managing many clients?
5. Give me one example of an online administrative responsibility you could take completely off my plate.
6. Tell me one skill you are genuinely strong in and one skill you are still developing.
7. What is the name of the local church you currently attend?
8. What is your pastor’s name?
9. Send me the website or public page for your church.
10. Briefly tell me how you are involved in your local church.
11. Are you willing, if you move forward in the interview process, to provide a brief recommendation or endorsement from your pastor confirming your participation in the church?
12. Plan a Zoom meeting with me in English and answering this question:
“If I give you an important assignment with a deadline and you begin running into problems, what will you do?”
Keep your response short.
Following these instructions is part of the interview.
What I Am Looking For
I am looking for someone who can become a trusted member of the team.
Reliability matters.
Loyalty matters.
Christian faith matters.
Local church involvement matters.
Communication matters.
Meeting deadlines matters.
Taking ownership matters.
If you are looking for a stable, long-term position where you can become increasingly valuable to one Christian ministry organization, I would like to hear from you.
