Finance Operations Coordinator | Project Accounting & WIP

We are an Australian advertising agency looking for an experienced Philippines-based Finance Operations Coordinator to support our Finance Director and manage the day-to-day finance operations of our project-based business.

This is not a basic bookkeeping or VA role. We need someone who understands job profitability, WIP and project accounting, and who notices when the numbers don’t look right.

Responsibilities

• AP/AR, invoicing and reconciliations
• Month-end preparation
• Cash flow updates
• Job costing and WIP
• Monitoring project budgets, costs and profitability
• Identifying unbilled revenue, incorrect allocations and financial risks
• Following up the team when information is missing or incorrect
• Supporting P&L and management reporting
• Maintaining accurate records in AccountAbility by Counta

You must have

• Strong experience in a project-based business
• Hands-on WIP accounting and job costing experience
• Month-end accounting experience
• Experience working with Australian businesses
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
• Excellent English

Agency, media, creative, production or professional-services experience is highly regarded.
AccountAbility by Counta experience is a major advantage.
Remote, Philippines-based. Approximately 3 days per week initially, with some Sydney-hours overlap.
We are looking for someone proactive who investigates problems rather than simply processes transactions.
