About the Role

Social Media & Paid Ads Assistant — Long-Term Position

AP Rollerskating is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Social Media & Paid Ads Assistant to help us grow our roller skating academy.

We offer programs for both children and adults. Our goal is not simply to post more content. We want to build an upbeat, engaged online presence that helps more people discover our programs and ultimately become students.

This is a long-term position with stable hours. We are looking for someone who wants to learn our business, become part of our team, and take genuine ownership of their responsibilities.

What You Will Do

Your primary responsibility will be making sure our social media content is organized, prepared, and published consistently.

Your regular responsibilities will include:

  • Pulling photos and short video clips from our media folders
  • Scheduling daily Facebook and Instagram content
  • Publishing 3–7 Facebook and Instagram Stories each day
  • Editing short videos into simple Reels using CapCut, VN, or Canva
  • Writing and adapting captions using the examples and guidelines we provide
  • Responding to comments and messages using approved scripts
  • Keeping our content calendar organized and up to date
  • Tracking inquiries and leads accurately
  • Providing a simple weekly report showing what was posted, engagement, leads generated, and work completed

Training will be provided for our systems and processes.

Paid Advertising Responsibilities

We plan to run Facebook and Instagram lead-generation campaigns for our roller skating programs. Experience with Meta Ads Manager is strongly preferred.

Depending on your experience, you may also help with:

  • Setting up Facebook and Instagram lead-generation campaigns
  • Creating and testing ad images, videos, copy, headlines, and calls to action
  • Setting up and managing Meta lead forms
  • Checking campaigns regularly to make sure they are working correctly
  • Tracking leads, cost per lead, and basic campaign results
  • Preparing simple weekly performance reports
  • Making approved adjustments to improve campaign performance

You will not be permitted to launch campaigns, change budgets, or increase advertising spend without approval.

If you have strong social media skills but limited paid ads experience, you may still apply. Please be honest about what you have personally done inside Meta Ads Manager.

What We Are Looking For

The right person will have:

  • Strong written English
  • Reliable internet and a dependable computer
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Consistent work habits and the ability to meet daily deadlines
  • The ability to follow documented systems and instructions
  • Comfort learning new software
  • A positive, friendly, and professional attitude
  • The confidence to ask questions when something is unclear
  • The ability to complete work without being constantly reminded

We do not expect you to know everything on your first day. We do expect you to be dependable, honest, willing to learn, and committed to doing high-quality work.

Preferred Experience

Experience with any of the following is helpful:

  • Facebook and Instagram content management
  • Meta Business Suite
  • Meta Ads Manager
  • Facebook lead-generation campaigns
  • Canva
  • CapCut, VN, or similar video-editing software
  • Social media reporting and lead tracking

Work Schedule

  • Approximately 10–20 hours per week, depending on experience and speed
  • Flexible working hours, provided daily responsibilities are completed on time
  • Availability to check messages and campaign activity twice each workday
  • Some overlap with U.S. Eastern Time may occasionally be required for training or team meetings

Compensation

  • Competitive monthly salary based on experience and demonstrated ability
  • Stable, long-term work
  • Training, clear expectations, and ongoing support
  • The opportunity to take on greater responsibility as you learn our business and produce results
